Chapter-24, Scene-I ❛ When Nightmares Become Reality❜

Taehyung's body suddenly jerked back as a jolt of electricity originated from his skull and spread all the way around his entire body. A bolt of familiarity.
A terrible familiarity.
His smile, which was easy on his lips fell like a tree against a storm as his insides were thrown in a frenzy.
He stumbled a little on his feet and held onto the thick vines of the swing with both his hands a little tighter for support, turning his knuckles white. Something had just come to life inside of him.
"Jungkook?", he repeated in a strained voice, trying to keep his composure as levelled as possible.
"Yes, my name is Jungkook.", said the younger with his back to Taehyung with his voice even meeker than before, his neck and ears turning red, completely oblivious to the internal war being waged inside of the prince right in that moment.
Flashes of memories began penetrating his mind.
"Name", he remembers asking a boy backed up against a massive door with bronze skin and curly hair the question.
"M-My name is J-Jungkook." The boy had answered.
He sucked in a deep breath.
He couldn't even ponder much as it seemed that one name, which isn't even all that special, have triggered a switch inside of him. More and more memories came to his mind as he closed his eyes tightly shut, trying not to recall.
"Jungkook~ I like the ring of it. Jungkook~ Jungkooook~", he remembers singing out, liking the name a little too much.
"Wh-what is your n-ame?", the boy had asked.
"I told you my name is 'hyung', didn't you hear it the first time?"
Taehyung tried to shake off the feeling of instant dread. He smiled in disbelief.
No. It can't be. He is a prince. No way have I met him before.
His delusions only shattered further as more memories made it's way into his mind against his will.
