October 14 (Day 14: Shelter)

Context: Sequel of October 13 (Day 13: Cold), Janet Amia is taking shelter from a thunderstorm that is happening. Little did she know that the building that she is in, belong to a villain that she does not want to see. They were playing a game of hide and seek.

It was thundering outside, Janet Amia is in a building. She was exploring it until she found darkness on the walls. She knew that she is in big trouble. She was about leave the area that she is in, when she heard the door open. She hurriedly look for a hiding spot and she hide in a closet.

Nightmare Steve can hear the darkness whispering in his ear.

The Darkness: "Night Cat is here, playing a game of hide and seek."

Nightmare Steve smiled and called out.

Nightmare Steve: "Come to see your father figure, Night Cat!
It's been a while!"

Janet heart was pounding and make sure to cover her mouth.

Nightmare Steve: "Let's play your game of hide and seek. If you win, I will let you go. If I win, you tell me what the Dark Sky did to you. If I like the answer, you can go. If I don't, let's just say there will be darkness to let everyone know who you belong to."

Janet tried to calm her heart down. Nightmare Steve turn off the lights and begin to find her. Janet knew that there is chance that she will survive this game by not being a sitting duck. She slowly got out of the closet and then the area. She begin to run and called out.

Janet Amia: "Let's make this more fair, no using the Darkness to your advantage!"
Nightmare Steve: "Fine by me!"

Janet sense that Nightmare Steve was coming her way. She open the door and go in it. She discovered that the room that she is in, was for her. She hid under the bed. Nightmare Steve open the room that she is in.

Nightmare Steve: "Like what you see, I made this room just for you."

She was counting in her head, 1, 2, 3, boom. The room was lit up by the lightning and she just saw Nightmare Steve's shadow. Nightmare Steve search the room for her. He open the closet.

Nightmare Steve: "Not here."

He continue to search. Janet is trying to stay calm as possible. The next lightning lit up the room and just saw Nightmare Steve's red eyes. Nightmare Steve use the darkness to pull her underneath the bed. She screamed in terror and shaking in fear.

Nightmare Steve (playfully): "Found you."

Nightmare Steve use the Darkness to take her out of the room and walk toward his room. He open the door and get on the bed. He put Janet next to him and then encased them with darkness. Janet look at him in the eyes.

Nightmare Steve: "Start talking."
Janet Amia: "It was jailed or work with them. I have chosen to work with them. I stayed in the background, hoping that none of you discover me."
Nightmare Steve: "Janet, you know I don't like that."
Janet Amia: "I know but can you not, please."
Nightmare Steve: "Sh, sleep now."

Janet slowly fall asleep because of Nightmare Steve's humming. He lay her on his bed and begin to infect her with the Darkness. It was a small portion but it will grow overtime. He left the room.
