"A lot of my responsibilities from previous jobs would translate to this job. Event planning, writing press releases-" Ella started to list.
"Okay." Tripp cut her off.
"As in I have the job okay?" Ella asked and he nodded. "What? That easily?"
"You make a good case. Also, I remember our summer relay races at Nate's Hamptons house. Underneath that smile is a heart of a killer." Tripp said.
"Me? Shall I remind you of the potato sack race incident of 1998? I still have evidence of your unsportsmanlike behaviour!" Ella exclaimed and they laughed. "Although given our new circumstances, I may have to forgive you. Anyway, I just realised, I should probably go."
"Of course. Well, we're here all day every day. But I'll see you Monday." Tripp told.
"Great. Thank you by the way for asking me in for the the interview. Our talk that night really helped me and meant a lot."

"Excuse us, please." Serena said as they went over to her.

"Uh, well, there's a list of debs and their mentors on the coffee table." Ella said.
"And you can find out who Lily assigned you to. Our deb's right here, right Jenny?" Serena asked.
"Uh, yeah, Serena and Ella are my mentors. Why?" Jenny answered.
"Oh, of course, if that's what you want. It's just a shame. You know how I feel about your potential." Blair said.
