"Best sister ever!" Lilith declared as she passed off Harrys bag. "Mama and daddy will be back soon. You have fun with auntie lily and uncle stinky-"
"Lilith." James grumbled. She smirked back at him as she kissed harry. He whined reaching out for her.
"Love you Harry. See you soon." Lilith assured kissing him again. She held up a little snake toy and Harry reached for the plushy. "What does a snake say?"
"Hisss!" Harry giggled.
"What does the kitty say?"
"Meow meow!"
"What does the Harry say to mama?"
"Yvou oooooou!" Harry.
"I love you!" Lilith echoed peppering his face with kisses. Severus stood in the doorway smiling back at them. Harry waved back at him as Lily picked him up.
"See you soon buddy." Severus agreed reaching a hand out for lilith.
"Happy anniversary you two." Lily added.
Severus held liliths hand as they walked into the restaurant. Lily offered to keep harry for the night so they could relive their honeymoon. Severus agreed immediately. Lilith didnt know that she could be away from harry for a full night.
They ordered drinks and toasted to three beautiful years of marriage. They sat in a booth hidden away from the rest of the restaurant. A floating candle in the middle of the table.
They shared an entree so they would have room for a sampler pack of all the desserts. Lilith moaned into her fork as she took another bite. Severus smiled kissing the frosting from her lips.
"Happy anniversary." Severus whispered his hand wrapped around her waist pulling her closer as he kissed her neck. Their glasses were magically filled with more champagne and the dirty dishes were vanished before their eyes. Not that they noticed. They were too lost in each others gaze.
Their anniversary Date night was going great until lilith requested to check in on her sister, check on harry.
"Just a quick call before we head back." Lilith assured. "Make sure they got harry down alright, he had his blankie right? We packed that? he doesnt fall asleep without favorite blankie." Lilith remarked suddenly nervous as she scanned her mind trying to remember if she packed it, she must have, severus nodded.
"We packed favorite blankie." Severus assured. "But call, but be quick my love, I have plans for tonight." Severus purred. He kissed her fiercely and she smiled into him before asking to borrow a phone from the bar. Liliths smile faded as the line rang out. She called again and her brow furrowed, severus moved to her sensing her worry.
"Sevy somethings wrong." Lilith whimpered as the phone kept ringing.
"Lets go." Severus agreed.
The door was thrown open the place was trashed. Lilith couldnt breathe. She heard screams. Harrys wailing screams and she ran up the stairs.
She picked him up and he sobbed big fat tears into her. She touched the scar a fresh new little lightning bolt scar on his head. Her teeth chattered as harry cried and cried. Severus saw James dead first.
After all the shit, James had put him through in school, they had matured since Hogwarts. They weren't friends, but they were mostly civil so now to see James dead before him he didn't know what to think. He knelt beside him, feeling for a pulse even though he knew there wouldn't be one before he ran up the stairs, he followed Harrys cries, Lilith was silent as the dead. He wrapped them in his arms before severus followed her gaze.
Lilith seemed to be in a trance as harry wailed out. She held him close but she didn't think she was breathing.
"Lil, lilith," severus begged forcing her face away from Lily and James dead bodies.
