14. No Magic

The new school year started back up again and Lilith looked ready to pop. She came down for the frog choir and to see her replacement. Then She complained the rest of the night.

She waddled back to their chambers. The damn stairs were against her today. One hand on her stomach and the other on her lower back she headed to the dungeons.

"She's ancient." Lilith hissed. "She is older than the relics. She can't see the-"

"Lilith, honey," Severus cooed. "Dont worry, its only temporary."

"I dont like it. Look how easily I was replaced!" Lilith countered. Harry reached out grabbing Lilith's hand and she smiled down at him.

"You are the best mommy ever, you could never be replaced." Harry assured.

"Ohh, baby thank you." Lilith agreed kissing him.

"Alright bath and bed." Severus requested when they finally got back. Lilith waddled along. She waved at the slytherins on their way to their common room.

"I apologize in advance for my future childs wails in the night. Hope you cant hear it!" Lilith added.

"Can we set up baby sisters room?" Harry questioned.

"Tomorrow. You and me are going to set up the nursery. Lucius is even bringing draco for extra muscle." Lilith added.  Severus rolled his eyes. "It's sweet!"

"Lucius used to have a crush on you-"

"He is married to narcissa-"

"She is not you. No one holds a candle to you," severus declared. " and I don't like he looks at you as if he has claimed you."

" oh, honey, it was one kiss maybe two for spin bottle. You have nothing to worry about. It was ages ago."

"What?" Severus demanded. " I didn't know about that. What kiss? He has claimed you he has claimed my wife."

" as I said, it was a kiss maybe two for spin the bottle you spin and the bottle chooses it's not like we played seven minutes in heaven."

"Lilith my darling, you are killing me." he brought him to his chest, and she reached out to hand covering his own.

" stop being so dramatic he's my friend. He's your friend too, and I would never ever ever cheat on you. I love you. Also, blonde is not my type."

They woke to knocking on their door and a red headed gryffindor staring back at them.

"Hello professor. Im sorry to bother you-"

" then why are you?" Severus demanded.

"Whos here this early?" Lilith questioned appearing behind severus.

"Percy Weasley. Sorry for the interruption professor but this is important. I know that the study of ancient runes is for third years and up but im highly advanced."

"Im on pre maternity leave." Lilith grumbled. "Talk to the ancient woman teaching it until I get doctod approval."

"You see I did and she said no but I thought if I could-"

"Do you have a free period?" Lilith questioned.

"Yes ma'am. But i just want to learn."

"Weasley... I know your parents." Lilith realized. "And your brothers. William is a quick study."

"Im even quicker."

"I will be back no doubt after Christmas break." Lilith remarked "grab your brothers books and i will give you the syllabus. I will give you tests at end of term. If you pass i will let you in."

"Thank you. You wont be disappointed ma'am!"

"Oh and another thing."

"Yes ma'am?"

"Although i love your eagerness dont wake up this early ever again." Lilith begged.

"Noted. Thank you," percy agreed running off.

"No respect." Severus muttered closing the door.

"I feel useful." Lilith countered. With a wave of her hand the kettle turned on and was heating up over the fire.

"Lilith!" Lucius declared when she opened the door. Draco ran past her to harry. The boys were already chatting up a storm.

" thank you so much for coming up so glad I don't have to do this alone," Lilith remarked, as she hugged him.

" my dear, you will never alone you always have us to call on." Lucius assured.

"Thank you. And thank you for all the beautiful gifts. This little girls already so spoiled." she put her hand on her very plump stomach.

"Lets hope she gets your good looks." Lucius added. Lilith swatted a hand at him. "Alright draco, lets get this set up."

Lilith was confident that Lucius never did a hard days labor ever, he had house elves for this so when Lilith said she wanted her nursery put together by hand no magic, Lucius face pinched and she knew he was going to resend his offer and if it was anyone else but Lilith he would have.

"Here are the instructions." Harry held it up.

"I will make some tea." Lilith offered. She watched Lucius struggle with the instructions. He offered her a smile but she knew he wasnt going to get this right. Severus came in for lunch and pulled lilith into a kiss before he saw Lucius and the boys on the ground.

"How long have they been like this?" Severus questioned, glancing at the pieces surrounding them.

"A little over an hour. You feel like the man now?" Lilith questioned Severus rolled up his sleeves and moved to them.

"This is a job for the father." Severus agreed. "Give me that," severus knelt beside them.

"Who does no magic?" Lucius murmured. "I was just trying to help but I think Harry is getting the hang of this better than I."
