"Another day another class." Severus grumbled.

" oh honey come on this is wonderful. He's finally in my class now Harry and me get to be together. And he's the brightest one in my class I'm telling you it's wonderful. I should've snuck him in ages ago." Lilith declared making a pot of tea.

"Tah-tah-dah-dah!" Hagrid declared bringing forward a hippogriff. "Isn't he beautiful?" Hagrid declared. "Say hello to Buckbeak."

"Hagrid, exactly what is that?" Ron questioned.

"That, Ron, is a hippogriff." Hagrid answered. "First thing you wanna know is they're very proud creatures. Very easily offended. You do not want to insult a hippogriff. It may be the last thing you ever do." Hagrid warned. "Now, who'd like to come and say hello?" everyone stepped back and Harry was left standing before them. "Well done, Harry. Well done." Harry glanced back at Ron as he shrugged. "Come on now. Now... ...you have to let him make the first move. It's only polite. So... ...step up. Give him a nice bow." Hagrid instructed.

" we should be in class already." Severus mumbled.

" I know, but he's not in my class yet so I'm taking my leisurely time this morning." Lilith countered. "Oh sev, did I tell you that Hermione Granger is taking multiple classes at the same time."

"What do you mean?"

" she has a time turner." Lilith declared.

" who would want to take extra classes that girl I swear..." severus murmured heading to his classroom lilith followed after him.

" I could tell. She went back. It was like having to teach a class twice."

" you do teach the class twice three times in fact, usually on the same day." Severus countered. " turn to page 37."  Severus instructed. "Lilith my love you know that I adore having you here, but you will distract me... thoroughly."

"Then you wait and see if he bows back. If he does, you can go and touch him. If not-- Well," hagrid chuckled. "We'll get to that later." Harry stepped forward cautiously. "Just make your bow. Nice and low." Harry bowed as instructed and Buckbeak did a little shuffle, stomping his hooves. "Back off, Harry. Back off. Keep still." Buckbeak stared him down before Buckbeak bowed back. "Oh, well done, Harry. Well done. Here, you big brute, you. Right. I think you can go and pat him now." Hagride assured. "Go on. Don't be shy. Nice and slow, now. Nice and slow. Slow."

"Well done! Well done, Harry, well done!"

"Does he get to fly?"

"He may let you ride him now." Hagrid offered.  "Put you over here, just behind the wing joint. Don't pull out any of his feathers, because he won't thank you for that." Hagrid explained as he practically threw harry onto Buckbeak.

" so how's it going? Aria staying out of trouble. She loves her uncle Mooney." Lilith declared.

" I love having her she's smarter than some of the first years."

" of course she is. She's got my genes." Lilith agreed. " I'm so happy you're here. How are you and Severus doing?"

" we avoid each other. It's a good relationship." Remus assured.

"I wish you two could get along."

" invite me over for dinner."

" Mooney come over for dinner. He will put on his best behavior as long as you do too."

" wonderful thank you darling."

" refrain from calling me, darling in front of him you know how possessive severus is." Lilith corrected.
