"Open up." Lilith commanded when she got to the gryffindor common room. She knocked on the protrait. "Open up."
"Password?" The fat lady demanded.
"Open up or I break you frame." Lilith hissed. The fat lady grumbled opening up.
"Always pleasent Evans." She hissed.
"Harry?" She knocked on a few doors before she found him. "Sorry to interrupt." Harry ran to her hugging her tight. "Come on let me steal you for a moment." She requested. She brought him down to the common room and he leaned into her sad eyes staring up at him.
"Whats wrong baby? Do you not like your bunk mates."
"Its just not what I expected." Harry corrected. "They all think slytherins are awful-"
" That's only because Gryffindor and Slytherin are main competitors. They don't actually mean it."
"Ron said that no one good came out of Slytherin."
" well, he is a Weasley and that should be all I need to say about that." Lilith offered.
"Are you mad?"
"Mad?" Lilith countered confused.
"Im in griffindor. Not slytherin." Harry remarked.
"Oh honey. Your aunt and uncle stinky were in gryffindor. It's a good house." She assured.
"But you and dad-"
"You are your own person my love." Lilith reminded him.
"The hat said, that I could have been slytherin." Harry admitted. Lilith stroked his hair back from his eyes, a smile On her lips. "But thought griffindor would be better."
"The hat did the same to me." Lilith admitted
"It did?"
"I almost begged for gryffindor because your aunt lily was already placed there and I wanted to be with my twin but he declared slytherin. Im glad the hat did because I met your father. Had you. Everything found a place I don't think I would've fallen in love with your Father if I hadnt been put in slytherin. The hat knows what hes talking about harry." Lilith assured.
"Thanks mum." He hugged her tight.
"Im here whenever you need me. Your father and I will try not to embarrass you too much." She added kissing his forehead. "Its going to be strange not kissing you goodnight ever night."
"Its going to be strange not staying in the dungeons." Harry added.
"True." Lilith chuckled. "You get a nice view from up here though." Harry shrugged. "Your room is still your room. Your father and I wont change it. Its yours. Your sister wants to turn it into a ballet studio but I wont let her." Lilith assured. "You can come back anytime. No one will know if you come sneaking out honey. Or you can say you were summoned by those awful slytherins." She mused.
"I love you mum." He held her tight.
"I love you so much baby." Lilith agreed. He smiled up at her feeling better already.
"I think draco is disappointed. He was looking forward to having you in his house." Lilith remarked nodding to draco outside the common room where she didnt close the portrait all the way.
"Gryffindor? Come on mate!" Draco shouted. "You are aslytherin legacy. The hat is an idiot. Back me up Ms Lilith."
"Curfew loves." Lilith countered. "Don't stay up too late."
"Night mum!" Harry called out.
"Night Harry. Night Draco."
"Is it weird or cool having your mum here?" Draco questioned waving her off.
"I love it." Harry assured. "My little sister however thats going to be annoying." He teased. "My dad said hes not going easy on us in potions too."
"Please we got this. Hogwarts is going to be our playground."
