-Frankie's 19th Birthday-
"Why do I feel like I'm 30 years old today? Ugh." Frankie groaned out as Hunter woke her up from a peaceful sleep.
Her birthday fell on a Friday but Morgan decided it was okay for the pair to skip school. He usually let his daughter every year so he wasn't going to stop now.
"Come on, you're going to be late for your birthday breakfast with your dad if you don't get up and start getting ready."
"I don't care." She grumbled. Pulling the blanket over her head. Ignoring his multiple attempts to wake her.
Hunter tried to pull the blanket off of her but she held on tightly as she could.
"You seriously are a stubborn ass ram." He sighed out with his hands on his hips.
"I should have never taught you about astrology if I knew you were always going to use it against me." He heard her mumble from beneath the covers.
"Either you get up on your own, or I throw you in the bathtub filled with cold water." He threatened one more time.
She threw the cover off and sat up quickly in bed. Nervous that he would hold true to the threat.
"You wouldn't dare." She stated but also was somewhat questioning.
Her eyes went wide as she watched him walk out of her bedroom and heard the water turn on in the bathroom across the hall.
She kicked the rest of the blankets off and hopped out of her bed. Not willing to see if he was serious or not.
"I'm up, I'm up!" She called out. Stopping him from proving it or not.
She hurried up and got ready for the day. Every year for her birthday, Morgan took her out for a large breakfast. It was a tradition between the two that they shared for as long as she could remember.
They both offered Hunter multiple times to come along with them but he wanted to let them share their annual memory together alone. Having another plan in mind as they were away from the house.
He knew Morgan had to leave for a work trip after breakfast anyways. So he wanted the two to have time together, saying he would have the rest of the day alone with Frankie. A sweet gesture she truly appreciated.
