-One Year Ago-
Hunter placed his food tray down on the cafeteria table to join Kevin for lunch. He was desperately trying to hunt down a bass player to join their band 'Skullfucker". Not going too well so far.
He looked upon at his best friend as he had instinctively been staring at a lonesome girl sitting behind Hunter at a nearby table. Emily.
"She's in my speech class. Think she's English. Scottish. I don't know. I heard she went ape shit on the band teacher. That's one messed up chick." Hunter spoke while shaking off his jean jacket. Revealing a Slayer band tee underneath.
Seeing an all too familiar girl walking in the lunch room from the opposite direction behind his friend. She was on her way to the vending machines until briefly stopping when hearing the bane of her existence speak to her.
"Speaking of messed up chicks." Hunter called out loud enough for Frankie to hear him. Pausing to turn to her right to reply.
"Awe you on your period again Sylvester?" She cooed out in sarcasm. "How's the band going? Assfucker was it?" She laughed as she continued to walk. Clearly assumed at how easy it was to enrage the boy. Kevin trying to fight back a smirk. Knowing how ridiculous the real name of the band is.
"Damnit it's!" Hunter began to shout back but could not finish as the girl was out of listening range. "Skullfucker." He whispered out to himself.
"I'll never understand why you hate her. She's not that bad." Kevin shrugged while taking a bite of his corndog. Trying to not keep his attention on Emily at the other table. He just wanted to speak to her.
"Not that bad? Not that bad?? Frankie Sullivan is the embodiment of evil. She has been and always will be. Just thinking about her pisses me off man. I'll never forgive her for trying to teach you about Def Leppard either." Hunter pointed at his friend's chest. Thinking of the latest thing she's done to piss him off.
"What was wrong with that?" Kevin questioned.
"It's not metal!" Hunter slapped his hands on the top of the table.
Kevin and Frankie had always been friendly to one another. Never seeing a reason to have an issue. Plus it drove Hunter mad so Frankie found satisfaction in being nice to his best friend. She and Kevin had discussed music, movies and other interests in their shared classes. She equally loved metal and rock but knew he was only to learn about metal music from Hunter. She wanted to share her knowledge of other sub genres. She was a bit of a elitist herself when it came to music. Hating any popular songs of their time. Constantly trying to persuade others opinions.
