Francesca "Frankie" Sullivan. Cousin to Clay Moss, side fling sometimes to Skip Hoffman and known arch enemy of Hunter Sylvester. Frankie and Hunter have been at each other's necks since the second grade. Constantly trying to publicly embarrass or o...
Frankie and Hunter separately texted different group chats with Kevin and Emily when they got home. Explaining to their friends what happened today in Speech from their own sides of the story. All details being the same except for who was in the wrong.
Hunter alarming Kevin that this would be the last time Frankie gets away with publicly embarrassing him. Having a plan of his own. He was going to put into affect tomorrow at school. Kevin warning him not to do anything hastily.
H:Don't worry. I won't shame her in front of everyone like she did to me. I have something else in mind for her.
K: Hunter would u think about whatever it is you plan on doing before something stupid happens.

Friday
Everyone in the school heard of or were speaking about Frankie and Hunter's performance in Speech yesterday. Kevin and Emily trying to get both to apologize. Lisa and Kendall talking Frankie's ear off about the whole thing. Clay shaming his cousin about her and Hunter's behavior. Like a disappointed parent. Skip congratulating her for 'putting him in his place.' She was tired of hearing about the whole damn thing.
Making her way to that very class she was dreading. Students clapping and hollering when she entered Miss Johnson's room. Their teacher telling them it was unacceptable. If anyone else talked about it again they would be marked down on their own project.
Frankie gave her detailed paper and apology to Miss Johnson before she sat down. Expressing gratitude again for another chance in class and on her assignment.
Frankie looked up to see Hunter walk into class, setting his own essay on Johnson's desk. He avoided looking anywhere near Frankie's direction. Both deciding to not address each other and watch whoever was presenting today. Every group going more swimmingly than yesterday.
As class was dismissed Frankie went to her locker to put things away. As she opened the metal door a paper had fallen on the floor near her sneakers. Bending down to pick it up and looking around to see if there was any sign of who left it here. She unfolded it to see a guys hand writing inside.
'My phone died. Meet me in hall C during lunch. -Skip'
Great, she thought. Just what she needed to deal with today. Hall C was in an old, unused part of school. Students always snuck away there to cut class, mess around or use it for some other unrelated school use. She had half a mind to act like she never saw the note and not go but decided to see whatever he had to say.
