"What the hell. Do they want my blood type too? Are these seriously questions? There's no way!" Frankie didn't fully believe Hunter was reading off the sheet. Possibly making up his intrusive quiz.
"Yes! Did you even look at the paper at all?" He asked.
"No truthfully. I was hoping to avoid it." She took another sip from the bottle. Trying to avoid answering those specific questions. Maybe she should've forced Hunter to answer them first. This sucks.
"You HAVE to answer them. You know Miss Johnson will know if I lie and fill in stupid random shit. I am not willing to fail this stupid ass assignment for you Sullivan."
Frankie groaned out loud. Exaggerating like it was going to cause her physical pain to work through this together. "Why can't I just fill out the paper for you?"
"Because I already started writing on it and you know she told us NOT to do that. Stop being a brat and just tell me what to write down damnit."
"Fine. Ask the damn questions." She rolled her eyes. Thinking she could be a much bigger brat if she wanted to be, this was nothing. Hunter should be thanking her.
"Stop being so nervous. It's not even that bad." Hunter told her as he noticed she was chewing on her bottom lip.
"I am not nervous." She squinted at the boy on the other end of the couch.
"Yes you are. You always bite your lip when you're nervous." Hunter spoke as his words naturally came out. Like he was stating a mere fact. He didn't even realize it. Going back to the worksheet before Frankie could ask how he noticed that about her.
"What makes you most frustrated?"
"It's either you write down your own name or put stupid people." She gave a tight lip smile.
"Stupid people it is. What's your biggest fear?"
"I'm living it right now." She gave a huge fake, toothy smile. Hunter looking up from his paper through his eyelashes at her. Unimpressed with her answer. "Ugh fine, I don't know. Being buried alive or something."
"What's your biggest dream?"
"To leave this town and live somewhere far away. Somewhere fun. Like a big city with a cool music scene maybe." She looked off in a blank stare while answering. Picturing her own future. Maybe on stage, singing in a band. Or in a musical, anything to express her creative side. What she didn't see was the way Hunter was looking at her. She looked like she was staring at a peaceful dream. He was listening to maybe her first serious answer he thought.
"What's a strong quality in your work partner?"
"You were for real with those ones?" She quizzed with a raised eyebrow. Hunter showed her they were indeed real questions. Mumbling out a no shit under her breath as she read his paper.
She had to think hard about an answer. Never being one to list any good quality that he possessed, if he even had any good ones. "You are very...... persistent."
Hunter surprised she said a remotely 'nice' one. Her answer could've been worse I guess.
"What is something you envy about your work partner?" Asking the final one.
