Blood and Thunder-Mastodon

Saturday Afternoon

Frankie groaned as she peeled open her eyes. She looked around to take in her surroundings. Seeing that she was in Hunter's basement, laying in his spare bed. Before she could try and think about how she got here she heard her phone chime on the table next to her.

Reaching for it to see she had multiple texts from Lisa, Clay, Emily, Kevin and many social media tags. Opening each app up to see videos and photos of her attacking Kendall. Clay was texting her repeatedly to apologize for catching it on video. He had removed the live stream of her throwing the first punch but other's had screen recorded it and had be reposting it over and over. Posting their own photos of the altercation as well.

Frankie exited out of her apps after seeing the 20th post about the fight. Everyone was speculating Kendall slept with Skip or other stupid rumor like that.

She quickly sent a text to her cousin to let him know it was okay and she was safe. Telling him she would reach back out later. Now realizing the time was 1:48pm. No wonder why she didn't feel that bad. She must've slept for 12 hours.

"Good you're finally up." Hunter walked back down the stairs with a bottle of water and some pain meds in his hands. Passing them over to Frankie and returning to his spot on his chair.

"You remembering everything yet?" Hunter asked as Frankie downed the pain meds and water. Hopeful to skip over the headache part of her hangover.

"Parts. Had the joy of watching myself on a bad episode of trashy reality tv online." She set her phone back down on his bedside table.

"Yeahhh. Not your greatest moment. Least you have a good swing." Hunter shrugged.

"Ha, ha. How did I wind up coming to your house? Can't imagine you thought I would be that great of company to have last night."

"Well after you wanted to pick more fights I threw you in my car and brought you back here. Figured it wouldn't be best to leave you by yourself alone."

"Thank you."

"It's whatever. Don't mention it." Hunter shrugged off again.

"It's not though. I do remember you taking care of me. You didn't have to do all of that."

"What else was I suppose to do? Leave you there all night?" He scoffed at her like it was some huge ridiculous thought that he wouldn't take care of her.

"I would've if I were you." She admitted.

Hunter looked away from her and down to his hands. Spinning a clunky silver ring around his finger.
