Frankie spent her weekend partying with Lisa and Kendall at one of Clay's famous party's. Knowing she wouldn't have to see Hunter's face at all eased her.
She tried to forget all about their exchange on Friday by sleeping with Skip again. Not proud of her decision but not willing to admit to Hunter she wanted him just as much as he eluded to wanting her.
Returning to school Monday morning to face the music. Only to see that Hunter had skipped out again. Not bothering Frankie too much as she could relax a little more. She thought about changing her project around since she had a few more days to rethink it. What she had planned the first time wasn't anything mean so it wasn't necessary. She did wonder if Hunter ever had a real project done before hearing her and Skip argue in the hallway. Curious what he would have said before that. Or if he always planned on saying what he did. Maybe that's how he truly felt.

Upon entering 3rd period on Tuesday afternoon Frankie had seen Hunter already in his chair. Of course she wouldn't be that lucky for him to miss another day. She almost wished he would switch schools entirely so they could stop this weird back and forth mess they had going on. Wishful thinking.
Each continuing to give the other the cold shoulder the whole day. Not having the energy to put up a fight today. Frankie thought about missing out on 6th period later but knew there was a test. Knowing it would be easier to get it over with instead of having to make it up later.
She did decide on skipping lunch again. Bringing her old guitar into school and finding an empty practice room. There was thankfully a spare microphone already set up there. All she had to do was plug in her guitar and hook her phone up to a speaker. Strapping her guitar over her shoulder while searching through her phone to pick out what song to play. She landed on No More Tears by Ozzy Osbourne.
What she didn't see was Emily watching from the small window looking into the practice room. Listening and watching her friend intently as she rarely got to see this side of her. She was impressed with how much she's improved on the guitar. Always knowing what an amazing singer her friend was. She knew she struggled with electric guitar though. It was very obvious she's been practicing.
"Hey Em. Watching Kevin in there?" Hunter called from down the hall. Seeing Emily smiling and nodding along as she was looking through the glass.
"Uh no. It's no one." She said as she walked away from the window. Telling Hunter they better get to lunch or they'll miss the good options. He watched as she walked away. Curious to see who was really in there. Smiling to himself as he heard someone singing Ozzy like an angel itself was performing.
