Raining Blood-Slayer

Frankie ran out of the classroom soon as the final bell rang. Ignoring whatever comments Hunter was trying to make. Pushing open the front doors and making her way outside. Seeing rain pouring down like it was the damn great flood.

"Fuck." She stood there almost frozen. Walking for an hour was once thing. Doing it in a crazy  thunderstorm was another story. She must've been standing there long enough to not notice Hunter arriving to stand beside her.

"Still don't want that ride princess?" Hunter asked while crossing his arms. Slightly leaning down to the left of her. Gloating about how she was truly out of options. She ignored him and walked forward. Eager to get her brutal walk over with. Strapping her bookbag on her back, she heading off down the road. Only cursing to herself about her outfit choice of the day.

She made it all of ten minutes before hearing an all too familiar engine slowing down to drive besides the left of her. Hunter trying to speak but she had been ignoring whatever he was saying. The heavy rain and thunder making it easier to pretend he wasn't there. After another 2 minutes she finally answered his persistent calls.

"Sullivan! Get in the damn car already." Hunter called out his passenger window.

"No thanks! If you can't tell I'm having a nice refreshing walk." She looked straight ahead while speaking. Making sure to not fall in any puddles surrounding her old sneakers.

"Look it's going to take you forever to get there! The sooner we get to my house the sooner we can get this shit done dude." What he said did make a lot of sense. He fully slowed down once he saw Frankie stop in her tracks and look around. Hunter pushed open his passenger door to try and persuade her one more time.

"Just get in the car Sullivan." Speaking softer now that it was easier to hear each other with the door open and leaning over. She reluctantly climbed into his car. Noticing it was fairly nice once inside.

"Great now my seats will be soaked." Hunter said as he watched her sit down. Frankie slowly turned to glare at him and shook her hair all over like a wet dog drying off. Hunter holding up his arms to cover his face from getting water splattered on himself.

"This was your idea Sylvester!" They took off down the road in silence after that.

Frankie's seen their house from the outside before but never stepped a foot inside. Being amazed at how nice it was once they did. She carried her bag and followed Hunter into the kitchen as he grabbed a couple pop cans. Looking over to the girl shivering from being drenched by rain. Her soaked hair clinging to her neck and shirt.
