Antisocial-Anthrax
The weekend had come and gone faster than a lightening strike.
Frankie and Hunter spending their weekends as far away from each other as they possibly could. Dreading the return to school this Monday morning. They had great success at avoiding each other throughout the day until 3rd period speech.
Miss Johnson asking her students if anyone had gotten a head start on their life projects due in another week. Quite a few surprisingly answering yes. Her eyes wandering over to Frankie and Hunter as they looked away from her gaze. Neither responding. She asked them both to see her after class and went back to her lesson for the day.
Both trying to hide their extreme frustration with the teacher.
Once class was over the pair made their way to her desk up front.
"I know you have a bit of time still to work on your assignment together but I do know you both and how crafty you are at getting out of things. I don't want you to push this off and cram some poor excuse of a project together at the last minute, with fibbing about working together. I expect you both to pull your full weight on this and put good effort into it. With that being said I have this letter that I will need both of your parents to sign by the end of this school week before it's over. Proving that you have been to each other's houses to get some of your worksheet done. It doesn't need to be fully complete but I would like for some progress."
Both teens were fast to protest but their teacher said she was not hearing it. Putting her foot down and sending them on their way.
"This is ridiculous. How can she MAKE us spend time together outside of school? This should be illegal." Frankie groaned as they left the classroom.
"For once I have to agree with you Sullivan." Hunter's words leaving a bitter taste in his mouth.
"Ew." She scrunched up her nose.
"Trust me I don't like it anymore than you do. But my dad will kick my ass if I get in trouble in this class again." Hunter admitted.
"And that's my problem how?" Frankie placed her hands on her hips.
"Listen, I don't like you and you don't like me. So let's get this done and over with. I have band practice today and tomorrow with Skullflower. So you can come to my house on Wednesday and then we can get your house over with on Thursday."
"Nice try birdbrain. My dad works a double on Thursday's. So that's a no go if he needs to sign this paper." Frankie shook the letter in her hand right in Hunter's face. He was quick to swat it away like a random fly.
"Whatever. Your house Wednesday and my house on Thursday then. That work for you princess?"
"I swear to Ozzy, if you call me that one more time Sylvester I'l-"
"You'll what?" Hunter asked as he stepped closer. Quick to try and intimidate the threatening girl standing half a foot below him. Having a quick stare down until their Dean walked by breaking it up. Telling them to move along and stop causing trouble in her halls. Both walking off to opposite ends of the school for PE and Choir.
