Seven shades of hope ,
Different colors bowed
Scenery only reimagined ,
When the last raindrops falls.

I see me humming lullabies ,
Down the river as I lay
Play around with dozen fireflies ,
Sadly , it was just a dream.

Memories were chained ,
Childhood days I missed
Priceless times we shared ,
Treasured as I aged.

As surreal as it seems ,
As nostalgic as I reminisced
Time is of the essence ,
Remembered till eternity.

I'm spouting nonsense , am I not?
My words are over the moon now
But my buddy is my pen ,
It's poetry wherever it strikes!
