95: Rise

Sunlight beams
through the mirrors
A reflection I
seldom see appears
A smile buried by
recent adversities
Just like a spring
of new day ,
It blooms through
the morning hay.
Battered tears ,
utter fears
Creeps through
me as I lay
In my sleep ,
In my dreams
Silent screams ,
Lies that aches
Years of chasing
nowhere trails
Just to find myself
It's a cruel climb ,
Yet I get through
Survived it still
The end is far
The tunnel still looms
It's a battle there
Hope is what keeps me
From painful thoughts
" Did we make it? ,
" Yes , we did but
Not without sacrifice
Not without the tears
Not without the blood shed
Not without the sweats but..
Like a sturdy bamboo tree
You've swiftly find your craft
You've come far from boonies ,
Now you rise beyond the dreams!
