93: Life Is Not A Race

Ain't no weirder feeling I've felt ,
Than this numbness that stings
Like a weed that's slowly burns ,
This battered soul's might withered still!

Through stressful days that's draining ,
Through sleepless nights I've suffered
My body screams utter pain ,
From running in full circles!

Twice the grind you'll carved ,
Thrice to failures you'll faced
Life may seem too unfair ,
Yet another try is already a victory!

Far too fetched this will mold me ,
Least expected but more than received
Sometimes all you need in this fast paced life ,
Are a little shed of strong will and patience!

You've come far I know that's rewarding ,
You deserved the blessings that came
Hard fought battle yet life's not a race ,
It is still far but you're halfway there!..
