Hermione frowned at the blank patch of wall. "If the room does exist it certainly wasn't mentioned in Hogwarts a History. How are you sure that Dobby was right? Have you even seen the room?"

"Underestimating a house elf, Hermione? I never expected that from you" Harriet deflected, before continuing to pace in front of the wall.

When the door appeared Harriet shot Hermione a triumphant glance.

"So this transforms into anything you need it to be right?" Ron asked, eyeing the door excitedly.

For a moment Harriet's hand hesitated on the doorknob. Oh Merlin, what if Draco was wrong or lying about the room transforming and she opened the door to a sex dungeon? There was no way that Hermione would believe that Dobby had put her onto it.
Hopefully Ron might though.

"Yes."

Harriet turned the handle and released a long breath.

Oh thank Merlin.

The three of them peered around the room as they entered. Harriet did her best to hide her relief.

"That's amazing Harri, have you tried turning it into anything else?" Ron asked "think of the possibilities!"

"Oh look at that, it's a sneakoscope!" Harriet exclaimed.

Hermione made a beeline for a large pile of books. "The others should be here soon" she called over her shoulder.

Slowly, students began to trickle into the room.

Cho embraced her as she entered They had an odd sort of bond formed by the loss of a shared crush. Her friend, however hung back warily. The reminder of Cedric's loss caused a guilty pang in Harriet's chest. She had moved on so quickly from Hogwarts' golden boy to the resident dungeon bat. What was wrong with her?

When the room was filled with chatter as people greeted each other until Hermione called the room to order.

The group argued over what they should call themselves, eventually landing on Dumbledore's Army.

Finally they turned to Harriet. "So, I know it's kind of basic but I was thinking we could start with Expelliarmous."

The students split off into pairs around the room and took turns attempting the spell on each other.

George motioned Harriet over "Harri, I need some help. I don't think I'm doing it right."

He flicked his wand and a book fell off the shelf behind Fred.

"It's more like this" Harriet said, demonstrating the wand action.

George flicked his wand again.

Harriet took his hand in hers, guiding him through the wand movement.

His thumb brushed over hers, and his lips hovered perilously close to her cheek. "You know, I still don't think I've got it."

Harriet's cheeks burned and she stepped away from him. "Alright, if you are still struggling let me know and I'll get Ron to help you out."

"Ah you know what Harriet, I think your guidance might have done the trick after all" George said quickly. Fred stifled a snort of laughter.

When Harriet reached the back of the room to find Neville standing by himself.

His ears were pink as Harriet approached.

"There was an uneven number" he began, and Harriet felt sorry for him.

"Oh I was saving you to have a go with me" Harriet said, hiding her pity with a warm smile.

Neville's ears turned even redder.

"Go on then Neville, give it a go."

Harriet glanced around the room while Neville repeatedly tried the spell.

She couldn't believe that this was the same room where Malfoy had -

"Expelliarmous!"

The wand flew from Harriet's inattentive grasp.

"Good job Neville!"

Harriet strode between students offering encouragement and correction.

By the end of the class she was happily exhausted.

When at last the rest of the students had left the room, Harriet turned to Ron and Hermione.

"Well that went well, didn't it?"
