A kid's big adventure

Interlude: Taking a break

On Rosalina's observatory, Ben was chatting with his new friends and telling them stories about the worlds he's been going to in order to gain enough power stars along with grand stars for the observatory to get to where Riser is. But there was something he couldn't help but to think of after meeting Captain Rose back in the One piece world. How did Mario and the Koopa King go to another world despite not gaining another grand star in order for them to go to a new world? Ben decided to go to where Rosalina was still filled with curiosity. "Um, Rosalina? How was Mario and Bowser able to go to another world despite the fact the gang and I were already in the world we had to go to? Are there more planets or worlds we don't know about until later on?"

Rosalina looked at Ben listening to what he asked her, and, she chuckled. Despite Rosalina being almost emotionless, she rarely showed a smile and a reaction such as a laugher out loud. Thankfully, she wasn't laughing at the boy. She was more likely laughing at herself. "Oh I am sorry for not bringing this up sooner, Ben. When you gather these power stars, it also leads a path to other planets you could go to that don't have Grand stars. But there are some Hungry Lumas who eat star bits or coins around here on the observatory so they could transform to certain planets to progress the adventure where other power stars are hidden."

Ben was amazed listening to what Rosalina explained to him about why Mario & Bowser recruit a new ally out of the blue "Wow. I didn't know that Rosalina."

-meanwhile with Tails-

Tails was in the workshop working on something he hasn't laid his hands on in a long time. He was working on a big ship called the Blue typhoon. He was used to getting things done in a flash, but this project was going to be more tough than before to build. As he was taking a break, he saw Franky come in. "Oh hello. Are you one of the straw hat pirates Ben teamed up with in your world?"

Franky looked at Tails and smiled nodding his head "Yep! I know we haven't properly met when we were facing against Tabuu, so allow me to introduce myself. The name's Franky. I'm a senior officer and a Shipwright! I'm like a carpenter and I enjoy building things I see the potential in! And I can see that you're working on something big. What do you say that I help out?" Franky pulls out a hammer from one of his big hands and spins it ready to get building.

Tails looks at the hammer Franky pulled out and smiled. It was clear that he has made a new friend "Thank you Franky! I'm happy that you can help out on this ship! I'm Miles Tails Prower. But you can call me Tails. I like to invent things and I'm Sonic's best buddy! It's nice to meet you, Franky!"

Franky was happy to see Tails smiling. "Nice to meet you too, Tails. Now let's get building!" Franky began working on the Blue Typhoon with Tails happy to make a new friend and help someone out!

-meanwhile in the field-

Zeoticus was with Jaune and Ben talking about some unforgettable memories he had while he was with his daughter. Just then, he remembered something he never thought would pop to mind! "Oh boy. Rias is going to kill me when I tell her I told you two this moment that happened years ago"

Ben tilted his head confused on why Zeoticus said that Rias would kill him. "Hm? Why is that, Mr. Gremory?"

Jaune too was baffled about his reaction "I mean, it can't be that bad"

Zeoticus looked at the two and sighed as he plucked up courage to what he was about to tell the two "Ok. So, she was about Ben's age when this happened. We decided to go to the zoo to learn what animals also live in our world such as elephants for example. When we went to see the Camels, Rias thought it would be a good idea to make fun of it. Due to her making fun of it, she ended up getting attacked by it. Thankfully she was alright after the incident, but as of today, we've stayed away from zoos that had camels due to her fear of them. Because of this, that fear was great enough for all of us Gremory residents as we kept camels away from Rias despite the fact the Gremory's association with Camels in the Ars Goetia!"

Ben listened to the story Zeoticus was talking about and was surprised. He did feel sorry for what Rias had to deal with, but he couldn't help but to let out a laugh. "Well, it seems like that is something you should never do when messing with a type of animal!"

Zeoticus looked at Ben and laughed along with him "Haha! You're not wrong, Ben!" Before he could as the kid something, he overheard some commotion going on in the background as he turned his head "Hm? Wonder what's going on over there"

Ben stands up and walks over to where the commotion was taking place. Just then, he saw what is was causing the commotion. "What the? Who or what the heck are you?"

Starlow turns around seeing Ben and smiles "Hello Yellow! My name is Starlow! Rosalina assigned me to go to where Rias was, and to be sure she was alright. And thankfully, she is alright. Rias believes in you, and she knows you can do it!"

Ben listened to what Starlow said and smiled. He was more happy to hear that Rias was alright. "That's a relief."

Captain Rose walked over to where the kid was as she ruffles the kid's head "Hey Ben. Since we know that your girlfriend Rias is alright, why don't we train so you can be prepared for the next world! I'll even help train your friend Asia some healing moves"

Ben looked up at Captain Rose and nods "Alright! Let's go!"

And so, his training sessions with Captain Rose and with the help of his friends began preparing for what was about to come in this huge adventure!

(Note from the Author: Hello all. It's been quite a while since I last wrote a chapter to this story. I want to let you all know that I have not lost interest in writing this story. Life for me irl have been busy, and I've been taking my time with writing these chapters mainly because I don't want to rush them or have them turn out worse. It takes time write a story after all)
