“Don’t touch me, moron!" I shouted at the bodyguard my father hired for me. I gritted my teeth as I looked at him angrily. “My father is the one you should mess with because he is the one who hired you!"

His jaw clenched as he looked at me.

“I'm not messing with you, Miss. I'm just guarding you," aniya at halatang nagpipigil ng inis.

“Guarding me?" I chuckled and shook my head in disbelief. “So why are you stopping me from entering the bar if you're just guarding me?"

He sighed heavily. “Because that's what your father ordered me to do."

Natawa ako. “Get out of my presence and go to my father. Tell him I'm not a child anymore that's why I don't need you." I emphasize every word.

“Why are you so brat?" he suddenly asked making me stop. “Your dad just wants you to be safe, and I don't understand why you are like that."

I violently pushed him in the chest, napaatras naman siya dahil sa ginawa ko.

“Shut the fuck up because you know nothing!" nanlilisik ang mga matang tumingin ako sa kanya. “You have no right to say that because you know nothing!"

A lot of people say that to me. Just because I don't obey my father and I always disobey him. But they don't know anything about our family, they don't know our history.

Apart from being a brat, they don't know anything else about me. They don't know me and they don't know anything about my life.

They don't know anything else.

Why are people so quick to judge based on what they see or what they hear?

“I'm just telling the truth," he stood up straight and put his hands in his pants pocket. “Your father just wants you to be safe but you continue to be a brat," he chuckled.

That's an insult to me.

I gritted my teeth again. “You don't care what I want to do because it's my life. Just shut the fuck up and go back to where you came from. I don't need a bodyguard! I don't need you!"

I walked fast so I could enter the bar immediately and he couldn't stop me.

I am very angry with my father and he has only increased my anger towards him now. I'm not a child anymore so I don't need a bodyguard to watch over me.

Pagkatapos ng mahigpit tatlong taon na nawala siya ay bigla siyang magpapakita tapos para lang sabihin na he hired a bodyguard for me. I don't know why he became my father, he was so irresponsible.

I have never treated him as my father because he never became a father to me.

What's even more frustrating is that he knows I'm upset with him, but he doesn't seem to care about my feelings and actually seems to exacerbate my anger toward him.

He always invalidates my feelings.

When I got inside, I immediately went to the bar counter. I like to calm myself down with alcohol. Lately, I've noticed that alcohol calms me down quickly. Mabilis akong kumakalma kapag nakainom na ako.

“Give me a drink with the highest alcohol content," agad na sabi ko kahit hindi pa nagtatanong ang bar tender.

“Wow! Are you sure, Miss?" natatawang tanong niya.
