Chapter 16

Rey was insistent on talking to Kei and Theo, she made sure that Theo freed up one day so she could talk with both Theo and Kei, so it took them to the next week after Macau opened up towards Rey.

The siblings decided it was best to talk at Kei's place, as the youngest still hadn't fully healed from the shot and while they talked, Rey asked Vegas to accompany Macau and Porchay to her house.

Kei is sitting comfortably on her sofa in the library room, she decides that she wants the talk to happen in the library as it's the coziest place in her house, she has her tea ready and a blanket draped over her shoulder.

Theo and Rey go to Kei's house together and they are immediately informed where Kei is, the two immediately walks to the library, telling Adam to prepare some iced drinks for them.

Once they go into the library room, they walk towards Kei and greet her before then plopping themselves on the sofa, Theo beside Kei and Rey across the both of them.

"So, what's going on?" Kei asks, immediately going to the point.

"It's about Macau, and well, Vegas" Rey started.

"What's with them?" Theo questions.

"I don't know if you realized, Theo, but Macau has been anxious after the incident, always looking for us as if we'll disappear any time."

"That's true..." Theo said slowly, recalling the times he'd hear Macau's frantic voice calling for him and only calming down after the younger saw him.

"So, I asked him about it," Rey continues, "and he eventually starts talking about his past"

"Past?" Kei questions, "What did he say?"

"In short, he saw Vegas get abused by his father, and the major family blamed him for something he doesn't even know, God, he wanted to give that Thankhun a plushie but he was screamed at, he tries asking Kim about it only for that piece of shit to shove Macau away. It doesn't stop there, Macau also ended up finding out what happens with Vegas when Vegas follows their shit father to meetings"

"Wait, wait, wait. Hold up" Kei exclaimed, "Explain all that in detail, because what the fuck?"

Rey took a breath before she started retelling what Macau said to her, she could tell Theo and Kei got more agitated as she continued, by the time she finished speaking. Kei has tears in her eyes, wiping them harshly while Theo is looking at her with a blank look.

"Are you done?" Theo asks as he stands up

"Adam, block him and lock all the doors" Rey immediately orders.

Theo has no choice but to sit back down, his jaw clenches as he tries to calm himself down. Kei, on the other hand, is openly furious as tears spill down her eyes and her cheeks.

"I don't want you guys to start annihilating the Theerapanyakuns family after hearing this."

"BUT THEY HURT V AND CAU!" Kei exclaimed, shouting at Rey.

"I know, but don't you want them to suffer for a long time instead?"

Kei lightens at the idea, her mind brewing with ideas on how to make the Theerapanyakun suffer. Theo on the other hand is nodding, he glances at Kei, and the two catch each other's gaze before nodding knowingly.

"By the way, Kei," Rey calls.

"Hm?"

"I want you to ask Vegas about his past, you don't have to rush it though"

"Noted"

"Anyway, that's all I want to talk about today. Any other things you guys want to share?"

"Nope from me," Kei says.
