To Be Happy

Chapter 34

A/N: I would like to deeply apologize for the long period of time that I'm gone and not updating. My reasoning for that is I felt that my writing is shit, like it's bad so I WAS planning to abandon all my works but just yesterday I feel like "Fuck it, I'm writing this for my own satisfaction" so, I'm BACK!

"YOU WHAT???"

Rey grimaces, regretting her decision to tell her sister what's happening with her and Kim. She curses herself under her breath as flashes of images of Kei beating up Kim pass her mind.

"Well... we're not in a relationship... yet"

"YET????"

Kei stares at Rey horrifyingly, as if the world is collapsing. She can't believe it, the guy that tried to kill her man and kidnapped not only her man's brother but also Porchay in broad daylight is having a something-something with her sister.

"ARE YOU WELL??"

"Stop screaming, holy shit." Rey huffs, before continuing under her breath "Thank God, I didn't bring Kim with me"

Kei splutters as she stares in shock. Her brain short circuits as she tries to speak, and her mind is jumbled as she tries to process her sister's words and situation.

"YOU LIKE HIM???"

"Oh, grow up"

"YOU DO???"

"I think so?"

"WAIT? 'You think so?'? You're not sure???"

"Yes, I'm not sure"

Rey huffs as Kei shuffles to stand up and went to the couch Rey is sitting, she took her sisters hand and stare straight to her eyes, looking for lies and deceit.

"You're not lying"

"Of course, I'm not. Do you... Do you hate him that much?"

"Not really... but I'm still not happy with him"

"I guess that makes sense"

"Obviously, duh. Of course, it makes sense. He tried to kill my man and kidnapped Cau and Chay, you know."

Rey grimaces as Kei looks at her, genuinely trying to make sense of her and Kim. She can't deny that Kim was a piece of shit, but she genuinely knew that Kim is turning into a new leaf.

"He changed and as unconvincing as that sounds, he did change... despite being broken"

"Damn, you really are into him..."

"Shut up."

"But seriously sis, I don't mind you liking or... eugh, dating him but I cannot change how I view him immediately, you know that"

"I know, just... I hope you give him a chance"

"Of course!"

Kei wrapped her arms around Rey, snuggling her face into her sister's cheeks before then raising her legs and resting them on Rey's lap. The older only huffs as Kei clings to her as the younger mutters how she can't believe that she's going to be dating Kim.

The two ended up talking for a bit more before Rey had to head out to her company, this obviously ends with not only Kei but also Macau and Chay clinging and whining for her to stay. It took the older a while but she finally managed to leave.

Kei huffed as she sat down on her living room couch while Macau and Chay headed back upstairs. She pouts as she grabs the tv remote and turns the tv on.

"What did you both talk about?"

Vegas asked as he walked towards the couch with a bowl of chocolate-coated strawberries for Kei. He hands her the bowl before sitting down, and looking at her.
