Chapter 35

Macau and Porchay were driven to school by Riki and Kun. The two young ones feel jittery as they ride to school without their clay, fortunately Riki and Kun are informed that they all ended up heading out earlier than usual to make a stop at Rey's company.

Macau and Porchay stayed in the car as Kun rushed out of the building, heading straight to the company's storage floor, guided by a security guard on shift. It took Kun 20 minutes to grab the clay and rush back to the car.

They manage to arrive at school with 10 minutes to spare, and so the two bid their farewells to Riki and Kun before rushing inside their school building.

On the other hand, back home, Vegas is getting ready to head out. Kei and Venice will go to Rey's place to discuss Porchay and his interests in producing, while Vegas will go to Theo's company for a discussion.

They decided that Vegas would drive Kei to Rey's place before he drove to meet Theo, so they headed out earlier than planned too, thinking they'd get a bit of alone time for a bit.

They decided to get coffee first, throughout the ride, Vegas kept one hand on the steering wheel while his older hands held Kei's, his eyes glancing at the rear-view mirror once in a while just to check up on their little one, as the bodyguards are riding in another car.

"Did the kids get what they needed for today?"

"I hope so, we can only find the binder and a wooden board for them, though I heard they headed out earlier to check if Rey's company has clay or not."

"Mhmm, I wonder what they need them for..."

The two fell into a comfortable silence that lasted only minutes before they arrived at a coffee shop near Rey's place. The two exited the vehicle, with Vegas heading toward the back seat to grab Venice.

The small one seems to still be sleepy, rubbing his eyes before resting his head onto Vegas' shoulder, earning a coo from Kei and a kiss rewarded to both Vegas and Venice.

The two entered the coffee shop and wasted no time ordering, once they got their orders, they hit back to the road. By the time they arrived at Rey's, Venice was finally wide awake, babbling to himself in his car seat.

Kei bid Vegas goodbye with a kiss, getting out of the car before grabbing Venice out of the vehicle. She holds the small one in her arms and watches Vegas leaves, she takes hold of Venice's chubby arms and waves as Vegas drives off.

Venice has started to babble a lot so Kei has been talking a lot to Venice, he's also starting to crawl which also means his curiosity has heightened, it doesn't stop there, Venice also starts teething, so combining it with the rest, Venice needs to be monitored 24/7.

Once the two watch Vegas leave, they head inside Rey's place and are greeted by both Rey and Kim. Kei knows Kim is fond of Venice but it still surprises her when Kim quickly greets her before taking Venice from her arms. She's both horrified and amused.

"Take care of him while I talk to my sis, okay"

"Okay!"

Kei watches as Kim heads toward the living room couch and immediately starts playing with Venice. She stares at Rey with an eyebrow raised, to which the older just smiles before pulling Kei towards her office.

"Dang, I can't believe he and Venice are attached to the hip"

"I'm also surprised. They unexpectedly got along with each other... a bit too well"

"Well, as long as it keeps him stable, I ain't complaining"

"Anyway, we're going to talk about Chay?"
