To Be Happy

Chapter 14

A/N: I honestly don't know what I just wrote... enjoy though hehehe....

Theo sends a notice to the major Theerapanyakun family that he'll be visiting the next day at noon. It is currently the day after the kidnapping attempt of Macau and Porchay, and Theo is staying with Rey along with Macau and Porchay.

Rey has been fuzzing over the two boys, making sure they're okay, and is always able to find her in case anything happens. This isn't the first time something like this happened to Macau and Porchay, Theo knows this, but the trauma of it never fades away.

Macau seems to act cheerful and normal yet he gets fidgety when he has to ride a car along with having nightmares. Porchay on the other hand has become silent, he doesn't talk much towards Rey or Theo and his nightmares were pretty bad.

Since Macau and Theo had nightmares, the four of them ended up sleeping in the same room, it's easier for them to keep an eye on the youngsters and it's easy for Macau and Porchay to find them if they wake up in the middle of the night.

When morning came, the four of them had a quiet breakfast and once they were done, Theo announced that he'd be visiting the Theerapanyakun's tomorrow. Macau froze at his family's name before his breath quickened, shaking his head at Theo, not wanting to see any of them.

Rey who sees Macau starting to have a panic attack immediately tries to calm him down. Theo on the other hand is set on making an enemy out of the Theerapanyakuns. What the hell did they do to make Macau like this?

"Phi, can I come?" Porchay suddenly asked.

"Sure, but will you be okay?"

"Mhm, Phi will be there to protect me right?"

"Always, little Chaychay"

"Thank you, Phi... and I'm sorry..."

"You're not at fault Chay"

"But, it's because of me"

"It's not. Period. Never blame yourself for this, okay?"

"Okay, Phi"

Theo smiles at Porchay before excusing himself to call Vegas and Kei. Theo went to the living room and plopped himself on the sofa before calling Vegas.

Vegas and Kei were having a lazy morning, they woke up a bit later than usual before Vegas input what they wanted for breakfast to the tab. He helped Kei freshen up in the bathroom before doing the same for himself.

The two were having breakfast in bed when Vegas' phone rang, he answered the call and put it on speaker for Kei to hear. Theo starts telling the two about how he's going to visit the Theerapanyakun along with an update on how Macau and Porchay are doing.

"I'll join you tomorrow, I want to see what will happen," Kei said.

"You're still injured, you know" Vegas cuts.

"Then you come and take care of me as we pay them a visit," Kei said as she smiled sweetly toward Vegas.

Vegas sighs as he knows Kei will go no matter what, which means he will also go, knowing how careless Kei can be when she's injured. Theo made Kei promise that she'll not be careless with her injuries when they visit the Theerapanyakun, which she did. Once they end the call, Kei looks towards Vegas.

"Will you be okay tomorrow?"

"Of course, I will. How about you and your injured shoulder?"

"Meh, I'll be fine"

"Sure..."

"V?"

"Hm?"

"You know you no need to worry over me right? I'm strong, and I'm a Carozza. I won't die easily."
