Chapter 31.5: TheoChay

After excusing themselves, Theo and Chay head out with Theo's car. Chay immediately took charge of the stereo while Theo drove out of the driveway.

"Where do you want to go, Chay?"

"Music store?"

"Okay! Music store it is!"

Theo slips his hand onto Chay's own, a smile blooming on his face as the younger one grasps his hand and starts playing with his hand as he softly sings along to the song he plays in the stereo.

Their relationship is still fresh and between the two of them, Theo is definitely the one more touchy and affectionate, not that Porchay isn't but he seems to be a lot more shy when initiating skinship or affections.

Theo soon joins in singing along with Chay to the song he knows and once they arrive at the music shop, they exit the vehicle and enter the shop.

"Do you have anything planned on what to buy?"

"I do! I want another acoustic guitar!"

"Another one?"

"Mhm!"

Theo looks at Chay with slight confusion, he knows that Chay's music room has a couple of acoustic guitars already but either way he would still buy anything Chay wants anyway.

Theo slid his hand on Chay's back, settling it on his waist, walking to wherever Chay was going. The two looked around the store until Porchay found one guitar that he was really interested in.

A Martin D-18E. It's one of Chay's dream guitars and as much as he wanted one, he knew how rare and expensive it could be. He decided to look around instead of immediately choosing one, not wanting to burden anyone to spend a huge amount of money on a single guitar.

Chay kept on glancing at one specific guitar and Theo decided to keep quiet for a bit, wanting to see if Chay would go towards it and purchase it but the longer he waited the further Chay seemed to be from the guitar, yet one could tell how much he longs for the guitar.

"You've been looking at that guitar, Chay. If you want it, you can have it."

"Huh?"

"That guitar. You keep on glancing at it."

"What? Uh... No?"

"You don't sound so sure now, Chay. If you want it, take it. I'll pay."

"What?! No! That guitar is very expensive!"

"Chay, I'd buy the moon and every star for you. Take it."

"But Phi... that's too much"

"Nothing is too much for my tiny ChayChay~ Should I buy this store too for you?"

"NO!"

"Then let me buy you that guitar."

Chay was about to convince Theo to not buy the guitar but it was all in vain when Theo kissed his forehead and strode away to one of the shop's staff, pointing at the guitar.

Chay walks towards Theo before asking him if he could add a special request to the guitar before it's paid and wrapped up for him. The staff mentioned that it could be arranged in the cashier, so they head to the cashier without Theo as Chay tells him he doesn't want the older one to know yet.

Once his request was confirmed, the staff told him that it would take them about 30-45 minutes to get the guitar ready. Chay nods before calling Theo over to the cashier.

The older gladly took his card out to pay before asking if Chay wanted to wait at a cafe nearby to which the younger nodded. Once Theo paid for the guitar, they headed out of the shop and into a nearby cafe.
