You and I were different. We came from different worlds, and yet you were the one who taught me the value of love. You showed me what it was like to care for another, and I am a better man because of it. I don't want you to ever forget that. — Nicolas Sparks [THE NOTEBOOK]
YOK
"Where are we?" Ray asked curiously as I parked my bike and slowly took off my helmet and then his.
"This is Hia Gumpa's garage. This is where I left the paints we are going to use. Let's just grab them quickly and then we can leave," I answered him.
Ray's eyes are all over the place, curious and in wonder. Maybe Ray feels like he had fallen into a rabbit hole too much like I always do when I go to his world. Only from his palace he finds himself in the not so desirable part of the town that a young master like him had never been in.
He follows me closely, still curiously observing his surroundings. Standing next to me as I stuffed some small paint cans and brushes in an old backpack.
"Yok? Is that you?" Hia Gumpa had come out to check who was making noises.
"Yes Hia! I was just getting something." I answered.
Nodding, he smiles and looks at Ray, "oh who's this? your friend?"
"This is Ray Hia. Ray this is Hia Gumpa. Remember I told you I work for him?" I told Ray and he smiled and greeted Hia. Black and Gram came in, as Sean and White followed a few minutes after.
"Hey Ray! You're here!" Gram gave Ray a fist bump. When did these two get so close?
"What's shiny new boytoy doing here?" Black asked Yok directly.
Ray, raising a vexed eyebrow at Black finally retorts, "you know, I'd tell you my name again so you can call me properly but then again, judging from your face, you won't remember it anyway, so boytoy is fine."
Sean had cackle with laughter and Gram, White and Hia Gumpa are smiling so widely.
Black looked pissed though, but Ray didn't even flinch. He really has no sense of self preservation at all. I sighed.
"Did you just call me stupid?" Black seethed.
"Did I? I said a lot of words but that wasn't in there," Ray shrugs. Facing White, "you are the way better looking twin though and you'll obviously remember my name, so let me introduce myself. I'm Ray!"
White smiles his dimpled smile and shakes Ray's hand. "I'm White and this is Sean, my boyfriend," White says and Sean briefly shakes his hands too, smiling. Black is pissed but White just glared at him.
"You're new boy's fearless!" Gram whispers in a loud voice that everyone still hears obviously.
"What? Why? Are you mad at me?" Looking directly at Black's eyes. "You called me boytoy once and I gave you a free pass, but I'm normally not so tolerant. Start calling me Ray and we'll call a truce, if not, I don't really mind if we keep doing this, emo boy," Ray raised an eyebrow at Black, taunting him to make his move.
White glared at his brother, "Black! Didn't you say anyone else is better than Dan!"
"All right! All right! Ray it is then! Nothing is wrong with boytoy though," Black spats.
"Ray sounds nicer and only Yok has the right to call me his boytoy," Ray grins at Black like he did not just give the scary man an ultimatum.
"Yok! I like your new boyfriend!" Sean proceeds to sit on the couch as he drags his boyfriend to sit on his lap. "Judging from the way you look, you're a HiSo boy... how did Yok manage to meet you?"
