Sara Lin and Oliver were walking home together, Hands swinging (due to Sara Lin's effort might I add) and Oliver playfully rolling his eyes but knowing he wouldn't want it any other way. He loved Sara Lin's energy. He told her they were walking a different way home and while Sara was confused, she went with it. She knew she could trust Oliver.

As they walked, Sara gasped at the pizza place.

"Oli, this is the pizza place I was talking about a couple of weeks ago. Can we go in before we go home Oli? I'll text my dad. It shouldn't take too long!" Sara asks, giving him pleading eyes. Usually, Oliver likes for them to go straight back since it gets dark and he wants her safe but Oliver gives a small smile.

"Your dad already knows. I told him I was taking you here." Oliver says and Sara gasps and gives him a big hug.

"You're the best subs! Thanks so much. Come on!" She says, as she kisses him on the cheek and drags him inside. He laughs and blushes as she drags him in. He knew he'd do anything for the moments like this with her.

He loved her and he knew it.

They've never told each other though and he's wondered if she's felt the same but he didn't want to make it awkward. It's been three months and he hoped his actions were enough.

Sara gets in and immediately, the smell of all the different pizzas hits her nostrils. The different varieties of pizza were all so exciting that Sara began to jump happily.

"So good!" She squeals and Oliver just shakes his head and smiles.

They look over the different choices before settling on their slices, garlic knots, and sodas. Sara got a White pizza with extra cheese and sprite, while Oliver got a Meat Lovers with a coke. As they sat down and talk, a worker from the pizza eventually comes out with their slices.

"A slice for the guy and a slice for the beautiful girl. Enjoy!" The worker says as he winks at Sara and walks away. Sara looks at Oliver and begins laughing while Oliver's face turns red.

"Everyone likes you..." Oliver grumbles and Sara softly smiles.

"Even if that was true, I like you so they don't matter. Thanks for taking me here Oli" She says and Oliver smiles. They eat their pizza and talk, the worker behind the counter continuously peers, making Oliver roll his eyes.

"Oli, be nice." Sara says and he mumbles but agrees. As they wrap up, Sara grabs her napkin and her eyes widen.

"Well, I see why he was looking over here," She says shaking her head. She turns the napkin towards Oliver to see the guy's number on it. She just throws it away and the guy sighs and returns to the back, grumbling about how all the cute ones are taken.

Oliver rolls his eyes and she chuckles. She doesn't usually see Oliver like this but it's her way of knowing he cares.

She loves that he cares. That he listens. That he's protective.

She loves...him.

As they left, the staff said bye to them and Sara waved back as Oliver swung an arm over her and they headed out. Just for good measure.

As they walked, Sara was deep in thought as well as Oliver. Both are contemplating on if they should say those three words.

"Hey Sar-"

"Oliver I-"

They both start and laugh.

"Go ahead Oliver." Sara says and Oliver smiles.

"That guy from the pizza place has me thinking-"

"Oh Oliver you know that you have nothing to worry about!" Sara says worridly and Oliver smiles.

"I know Sara. I know because...I love the way you make me smile. I love how you are the first one on my mind. I love how you remind me that I'm yours. I love the way you just care for me and I love...you. I love you Sara Lin" Oliver says and Sara grabs his hand.

"I love you too Subs. It's always been you" Sara says gently and they end the night with a sweet kiss,

I love pizza and this was just fun. Competition from outside the book, you know?
