Sara notices Oliver talking to a new person she hasn't seen before. Who is she and why is Oliver talking to her?

Sara was humming in the hallway, pencil twiddling in her fingers when she finally got to her locker. As she was getting something, she saw golden hair in her perifial and smiled unintentionally.

Oliver Yang.

As she felt her heart speed up slightly, she took a quick glance to see what he was doing and an eyebrow raised slightly. He was laughing with someone at his locker and it was a girl at that. She was gorgeous. Tan skin with blue braids and a radiating smile.

Sara knew she couldn't be jealous or anything. She just has this silly crush on him. It's not like they're dating or anything but she couldn't help but be curious.

Who is that?

Sara just closed her locker and began to walk quickly to class. "Out of sight, out of mind" is what they always say right? That would do the trick, right? Sara walked across the way, not noticing that a certain someone glanced up to see her walk by and sighed.

DJ took a look back and noticed Sara walking by.

"That's her?" DJ asked and Oliver's face got red.

"She seems great. Come on, let's plan this out so you can get your girl." DJ sing songs and Oliver groans while she laughs.

Lunch rolls around and Sara's happy to finally eat some ramen she got last night with Patrick for lunch. As she heads to the table, she notices that Oliver and the girl are talking together in line as they get food. Sara scrunches her face in confusion.

Who is that? She's with him again?!

Sara sits at the usual table and breathes a sigh of relief when the girl goes to sit at another table while Oliver comes by her. His face is a slight bit red and his glasses are falling a little bit but that doesn't stop Sara from smiling when she sees him. If anything, it makes her like him more.

"Hey, Sara. How are you?" Oliver asked as he sat. He always gets so nervous around Sara but he's getting a bit better at making conversation without losing his train of thought.

Just a bit though.

Sara smiles and talks to him about her day, omitting the notice of the girl he's been talking to. Sara didn't want to be weird. They're not dating. Guys can have girl friends. Girls can have guy friends. She's friends with Patrick and Joe and even Oliver after all but the only thing is...

Besides Skyler and of course her, Oliver doesn't usually talk to any girls. This girl came out of nowhere.

As they talk, little fleeting moments appear between them, making Sara blush and occasionally stutter. Oliver is just as bad at conversation and their hands accidentally touch both reaching for a napkin, which makes them jerk their hands back and mumbles "I'm sorry" over and over.

The next day, Oliver was walking down the hallway when the girl with blue hair and brown eyes approached Oliver and scared him which made him jump.

"DJ you scared me." Oliver gasped, putting a hand over his heart while DJ laughed and apologized.

"Sorry, Oliver. Are we still good for today? We need you ready by Friday for Saraaaa Linnnn" DJ sings towards the end and poking him and Oliver turned red. DJ was a junior in Oliver's science class. DJ talked about her crush one day and since they've been lab partners for a while, Oliver opened up too since he literally couldn't tell anyone else and now DJ was helping him ask her out.

"Sing it any louder why don't you?" Oliver mumbled and looked up to see Sara by her locker. His face turned a bit red as she laughed with Patrick by her locker. They were looking at a video on her phone and then he heard a gasp.
