*Two years into the future*

"Sara Linnnnnnn," Patrick said, knocking on her door.

"That gangster wants you, Sara. When will you stop being friends with him?" Richard, Sara's dad said and Sara Lin raised an eyebrow.

"Patrick can't hurt a fly, let alone be a gangster dad. We've been over this!" Sara Lin said as she rushed to the door and opened it. Patrick was with Tammy, each having a tray of their favorite Christmas treats.

"Hey, Sara!" Tammy said happily and Sara greeted them back. Sara said bye to her dad as they started the journey to Joe's new apartment. He just moved in with Vicky and this is a Christmas/Housewarming party to celebrate.

"I can't believe Joe and Vicky have moved in. They are getting so official!" Sara squealed and Tammy nodded, agreeing they were so cute. Patrick just groaned.

"Whatever. They are grown and all that. I'm sure we'll be there one day but for now, someone try to stop me from not eating these cookies!" Patrick said, eyeing his cookies while Tammy was eyeing him.

"Patrick! Get a grip. We are here. Look!" Sara says.

She goes up the stairs and knocks on the brown door

She goes up the stairs and knocks on the brown door. Joe opens it with a smile.

"Sara! Patrick! Tammy! Welcome! Come on in!" Joe says happily. Everyone shuffles in, taking off their jackets. Everyone set their trays on the counter as they looked around the apartment. Vicky hugged everyone as well and they all began to talk.

"Where's Oliver?" Sara asked and Vicky raised her eyebrow. Vicky goes on about how those two should have gotten together but Sara rolls her eyes.

"Vicky, we just never got on the same page. It's old news and he's a really good friend now." Sara said and Patrick and Tammy side-eyed each other.

"Didn't they kiss?" Tammy mumbled to Patrick.

"Twice. Don't know how much more obvious it could get." Patrick mumbled back.

Everyone hears another knock on the door and Joe opens it to Oliver.

"Oli! You took forever. Come on!" Joe says, pulling him in, and Oliver rushes in. He took off his coat as well and looked around the room, seeing some friends new and old. He hears a laugh and notices her: Sara Lin.

Oliver sighed. Maybe one day they'll be on the same page. They never defined it so they ended up with other people. Oliver dated Skyler for a year while Sara dated Patrick for another. It didn't work out on either end, both mentioning they must have other people on their mind but they never admitted it.

Sara Lin and Oliver eventually made it to each other after talking to many others that night.

"Oliver! It's been a minute. It's nice to see you." Sara smiled and Oliver smiled back.

"Sara Lin. It's been too long." Oliver mentioned and began to gently stare. She's beginning to grow her hair a bit longer and her eyes are still that beautiful color that only seemed to be hers. Sara glanced at him, noticing the navy sweater helping bring out the green in his eyes. He's always looked so good.
