Chapter 36
Children
"Magandang umaga, kayo ba ang galing sa The Grand Hotel sa Manila" Tumango kami ng mga kasamahan. "Ako nga pala si Fiona, I'm the Event Manager. Sa totoo lang we don't really need extra staff... Wala kayong gagawin sa araw mismo ng Event lang... Hugas? And maybe chop some vegetables that our chefs need. The event is in Two days"
Anong gagawin namin sa apat na araw? Chill?
Mabuti naman.
"Akala ko 5 days my event" Sambit ng katabi kong lalaki.
"Kaya nga... Anong gagawin natin sa apat na araw? May sweldo pa tayo non?"
"I think meron naman. Let's just consider this as a vacation"
"Sinong mag swi-swimming?"
Lumayo ako sa kanila. May sweldo ba talaga kami?
It looks luxurious.
After wearing comfortable clothes, I took my phone and decided to walk on the beach.
Unlike the others, I won't swim. I'm still tired from the ride earlier. Baka masyado akong mapagod mamaya. I'll have this first day as a rest day, I have three more days to swim.
The Hotel is big and tall. It's covered with Gold, white, and black, and paintings all around. It looks classy.
And the beach outside the Hotel is the prettiest. The white sand and the wild waves. It's so majestic.
My feet touch the white sand. Masarap ito sa pakiramdam, it gives the sensation of relaxation. Something that I haven't felt in a long time.
Umupo ako sa buhangin. People around me are living their life. Letting the waves take them to the shore. While the others are riding the waves, becoming one with it. And some are just letting the water embrace them. The most comfortable hug that people will feel is the ocean surrounding them.
The beach is so pretty. Too bad I don't have anyone to share how I find very pretty. I'm sure Yumi is busy with her restaurant. Hapon na kasi, and that means she's cleaning and cooking. Meanwhile, Kerlee, she's probably preparing the meal for the kids. I'm truly alone right now.
My phone beeped, I opened it and saw his familiar number.
Unknown Number:
I'm eating my merienda right now. Eat yours too! Don't miss any meals, please :(
Umiling-iling ako sa mensahe niya. How annoying. I wonder how many women he sends messages like this? I hope her girlfriend catches him.
Unknown Number:
I know you told me to stop updating you. I can't stop myself. I'm sorry. Just ignore my messages, please.
Ganyan talaga gagawin ko. I don't like to entertain cheaters noh! I wish I had known earlier para simula pa lang hindi na kita pinansin kahit na gustong-gusto ko.
Unknown Number:
I wish you could see what I'm seeing right now.
Unknown Number:
Beauty
What is he seeing?
I closed my phone and looked in front of me.
