"Aruna is being suspicious" Sumipol sa tabi ko si Elle.
I turned to look at her. Pinag singkitan ko siya ng mata. Ngumuso naman siya at nag iwas ng tingin.
"Akala mo hindi namin malalaman"
Ang aga-aga pinapan-nerbyos ako. Heto ang mahirap sa kanya eh. Ayaw pa sabihin agad, pa suspense pa, in the end, wala naman pala, or hindi naman pala big deal. Nakaka Nerbyos lang kasi.
"I have no idea what you're talking about" Sagot ko.
Shoanne beside me smirked.
"Ano ba 'yon? Sabihin niyo na lang nang mapadali ang buhay natin"
"You're not telling us what's the ganap in your life and we understand that pero hanggang dito 'rin?"
"Elle tapatin mo na lang ako" Sumipol si Shoanne. "Ano ba iyon?" Naiinis ko siyang tinapunan ng tingin.
"You and Aello!" Sigaw niya.
Nag panic ako. Tumingin ako sa palibot para malaman kung may nakarinig ba. Thankfully, my classmates are too busy in their own world.
"Ha? pinagsasabi mo?" Pag ma-ang- ma-anqssssssdqeaawgan ko.
"You and Aello are going out, Aruna" Elle repeats herself. "Aminin mo na lang. Nahuli na namin kayo" She crossed her arms.
I looked at Shoanne and she nodded at me. I sighed. I guess they already know.
Okay, lang naman 'di ba? I don't know why I am nervous or why I am trying to hide it. Wala namang girlfriend si Aello at Tita will not see us here in school naman. So, why am I still trying to hide it?
Elle's face is red right now. She's mad. Nakakunot ang noo niya habang naka cross ang mga kamay, meanwhile Shoanne is trying not to laugh.
"Okay," Pagsuko ko. "I'm sorry"
Shoanne laughed. "Y'all cute though," She said.
"Matagal niyo na bang alam?" Tanong ko.
"Medyo?" Nag aalangan na sagot ni Shoanne.
"I hate you, Aruna," Elle said almost like a whisper. Napalingon kami sa kanya. "I didn't know anything about you. Ang daya kasi, hanggang dito ayaw mo 'rin sabihin sa amin"
"I'm sorry 'kay, Hindi ko alam kasi kung paano sabihin sa inyo. Ang bilis ng pangyayari" I said.
"Kahit na! You should've told us! Abot kamay mo na pala yung taong gusto mo, mamaya mag jowa na pala kayo, tapos kami walang alam? Aruna, we're friends" Nararamdaman ko ang gigil sa boses ni Elle. Shoanne only laughs.
Lumapit ako sa kaibigan at hinawakan ang kamay niya.
"So? Hawak lang?" Pinag taasan niya ako ng kilay.
Ano pa ba kailangan ko gawin? I am sorry, I don't know how to express that.
Nag kamot ako ng ulo. Shoanne tapped my hand.
"Magkwento ka" Utos niya.
"Ayaw ko! nakakahiya"
"Ako, hindi ako nahihiya, baka masapak kita dito, Aruna. Mag kwe-kwento ka or sasapakin kita?" Elle showed me her fist. I covered my body with my hands.
Shoanne laughed again.
"Okay, 'eto na! Nakakahiya nga eh"
I told them everything. From the things that happened in the orphanage to the things that happened from our sessions. I didn't tell them about Aello living in the Orphanage. Iniwan ko iyan. Tuwang-tuwa naman silang dalawa habang nag kwe-kwento ako.
