I woke up to a foot in the side of my chest again as Muichiro was trying to push me awake. I didn't want to wake up. He had been relentless in my training that my stubbornness ended up taking over.

"Get up," He ordered. I didn't yield but instead rolled over. I just wanted five more minutes. I thought Muichiro might let me for once when he shrugged his shoulders. My hope was short-lived when I realized he had grabbed the foot of my blanket and pulled it off, knowing the cold morning would force me up.

"Good morning," I grudgingly responded as I heard him throw my blanket in his room so I couldn't get it back. Oh well. I just rubbed my eyes and stood up to get dressed. I went to shut my door but he stopped me. "What's wrong?" I asked, now awake.

"Your new uniform is ready, here," He said as he pulled out a brand new kimono for me. It was loose fitting like he said, but it had hints of turquoise along the edges and matched perfectly with his. I thought it was beautiful as I took it from his hands. He shut the door and allowed me to get dressed. It fits me perfectly. He must have had it tailored for me. I blushed at the thought before shaking my head.

I went out to meet him for my morning training in my new uniform. He turned and looked at me before smiling with a slight blush on his cheeks.

"Your uniform, it looks perfect," He told me quietly as he turned his gaze from me.

"Thank you, for getting me this uniform," I said, slightly embarrassed at how he was acting. He quickly refocused himself on training me. It was as intense as any other day, leaving me exhausted by lunch. But it meant a break, even if I did have to cook. I never even used the private chef since I arrived since Muichiro insisted on my cooking. But, it did make me happy how much he enjoyed my meals.

I followed him to the kitchen as usual, expecting him to sit and watch me cook but surprisingly, he went behind the counter today.

"Sit, I am cooking today," He ordered me. I was confused but I sat down and watched him as he looked around the kitchen. Had he never explored his own kitchen? It was kind of cute. I saw him look around so seriously as he tried to prepare me something to eat. He took about twice as long as I do usually, but he managed to serve me some rice balls that just barely were shaped correctly.

"Thank you, Muichiro," I said gratefully. He sat beside me with a plate of his own as we took a bite together. It was absolutely awful with too much of a bitter and salty flavor but I somehow swallowed it. He looked mortified, unable to swallow his own food.

"Uh, sorry," He said, obviously embarrassed. I couldn't help but laugh at his embarrassment.

"Why did you cook that if you don't know how?" I asked him, still laughing slightly at how funny he was.

"I thought I should prepare you something, since you always cook for me," He told me shyly. I was surprised at how he was acting. He normally acts cold to others but he seems to be trying to be kind to me. I was so moved I boldly took another bite and swallowed it quickly, trying to not taste it proudly as he looked at me amazed.

"You don't have to do that! I don't need you to get sick!" He told me panicked. I laughed again at his concern before he calmed down. I have never seen him so emotional before, he must really be worried.  I blushed slightly until we were interrupted by the arrival of Mitsuri. She didn't even wait for the servant until she barged in with her face filled with worry.

"Ugh, what is that awful smell?" She stated, quickly distracted from whatever she came running in for.

"My cooking. Why did you run in here?" Muichiro asked her nonchalantly. She refocused herself, pinching her nose before talking again. Muichiro looked annoyed at how she was acting, but I was fighting back more bouts of laughter.

"Master is calling you to Headquarters! Why did you lock your poor crow outside?" She exclaimed pointing to the poor bird sitting outside the window looking in. When did he do that? "Something about a boy with a demon sister. All the Hashira are needed immediately!" She explained. A demon sister? What does she mean?

Muichiro looked a bit sad for a moment but he composed himself, returning to his blank expression.

"Okay, if the Master needs me. Let's go then. I will be back for you," He told me sweetly, grabbing my hands for a moment. I was surprised by his sudden touch and so was Mitsuri who covered her face with her hands, whispering "How cute!" to herself, not too quietly. I blushed as he turned away and went with Mitsuri.

With the rest of the afternoon off, I decided to clean up his mess, trying to get the smell out of the house as much as possible. Why did he try to cook for me? And how did he make it so putrid?

Still, my mind only thought of him. He tried to do something kind for me, he gave me a new uniform, a new home, and made me his tsuguko. I did my best every day to impress him, to show him he made the right decision to make his tsuguko (except for this morning), but I wanted to do something for him, just because, it's Muichiro. What would he like?

I wandered through the Estate, looking for clues of what to give him. I noticed there were small bits of origami scattered as decorations around the entire house. When I inspected them closer, they were all signed with Muichiro's name. He was clearly talented. I went and found some blue and green paper and tried to make something for him.

My goal was a blue flower like the one he gifted me my first night in my room, but it was utterly hopeless. I spent hours on the floor in my room desperately trying to figure it out until the day turned to night and Muichiro entered my room suddenly.

"What are you doing?" He asked me, confused at the mess I made after trying for so long to make him a gift.

"I was trying to make you an origami flower," I replied honestly. No point in trying to hide my lack of talent. To my surprise he just smiled at me sweetly, causing me to blush.

"You tried to make one for me?" He looked surprised and blushed slightly before he changed his expression. "That's not how you make one, here I will show you," He said calmly, sitting across from me as he expertly made a flower in a matter of minutes. He took the paper flower and placed it in my hands, his soft touch surprising me again.

"Now you know. Maybe you can teach me to cook in return," He offered. I nodded in agreeance. We can help each other learn new things. Why was my heart beating so fast when I looked at his sweet face?

"What was the meeting about?" I asked him, trying to change the subject and hide my red face.

"Oh, I don't remember," He told me coolly. I couldn't hold back my laughter as he blushed and let out a small laugh with me. His laugh was like a sweet melody to my ears.
