When I woke up, I was back home with Muichiro by my side. The moonlight was out and I welcomed the familiar fresh scent of our home. I smiled as I turned towards him and held him closer to me. He was sleeping but seemed to have woken up from my touch alone. He opened his beautiful turquoise eyes and smiled, letting out a sigh of relief. He brought his hand to my head and glided his thumb over my cheek.

"Thank goodness you are awake," he muttered softly as he brought his lips to mine. His lips were so soft, but I could sense he had been worried about me for days. I felt awful I caused him such pain as I kissed him back passionately. I ran my fingers through his soft hair as he started to repeat the same to me, reminding me of my new haircut. He sat up suddenly and looked at me blankly as he kept playing with my hair.

"Does it look bad?" I asked him, a bit confused by his response. He paused for a moment as he kept messing it into different styles until he settled on a middle part.

"No, it is cute actually," he complimented with a smile. My face grew red at his words.

"Then why did you threaten Tengen about it?" I said with a laugh as he looked at me seriously.

"Because no one is allowed to injure you, even your hair. He let it happen, so I was angry," He spoke with firmness. He was being too serious so I held onto him so he relaxed as I kissed his cheek.

"Thank you for always taking such good care of me Muichiro, but it is okay now. They are defeated and I get to be by your side again!" I said with a smile as he looked at me in awe.

"I, take good care of you?" he asked me a bit confused even though his eyes were filled with amazement. I kissed his cheek as he blushed slightly. So cute!

"Of course, and I want to take care of you too. Now that I am home, you don't have to worry so much, so please relax," I pleaded as he nodded his head. He was so kind, but I could tell his worrying was making his thoughts a mess as I kissed him softly yet again.

"You need to rest too. You are more important anyway," he clarified as he tucked me back into bed and held me onto his strong chest. His heartbeat was so soothing, like a sweet lullaby as I fell asleep on top of him again.

When I woke up in the morning, Muichiro was still asleep. It was quite early, but knowing him, he would be awake soon. I sat up to get ready to make him something to eat for the morning, I am sure he missed my cooking. When I sat up, I noticed I was wearing new turquoise and black pajamas, they were made of silk. And I was clean despite coming from battle, did he?

"Good morning," he murmured quietly while rubbing his eyes. "Do you like them?" He asked me with his morning voice. He looked a bit sleepy still, a rare sight, but it was quite cute.

"Yes, I do. It's very soft. Did you clean me?" I asked him. He nodded his head.

"Yeah, you were unconscious. You seem to have a habit of going unconscious from intense missions so I had custom pajamas made so you could be comfortable," he explained blankly. I blushed a bit at the idea of him cleaning my body by himself, but I appreciated it as I knew if it wasn't him, another nurse would have done it anyway.

"Thank you so much Muichiro," I said shyly, shuffling my soft pajamas, admiring them. He smiled at me causing me to blush again. I decided it was time to get dressed though so I changed my clothes and adjusted my hair before heading to the kitchen with Muichiro.

"What do you want to eat?" I started to ask him as we were stopped by noticing Tengen and his three wives by our front door. He looked almost annoyed to already be interrupted, but I was more surprised to not see Tengen in the hospital.

"Hey, you are up!" Tengen yelled out, waving with his arm. Muichiro looked up at him confused.

"What happened to your hand?" Muichiro asked him point blank. I held him back from being attacked by Tengen's three wives who started yelling profanities at him, even though he just looked at them confused.

"You don't remember yesterday already?" Tengen asked a bit concerned as Muichiro shook his head.

"He has been a bit more fuzzy than usual. I think the stress I caused him may have worsened his memory," I clarified which finally calmed down his wives, though, Makio was still looking at Muichiro suspiciously.

"Well, that checks out. I came to see how you were doing. I am sure you heard yesterday that I officially retired, but I am still going to check on the boys and the demon girl now. Did you want to come with me?" Tengen asked me. I nodded my head.

"Only if Muichiro comes along," I clarified. I wasn't in the mood to leave his side again, but I did want to check in on the others. His three wives started to hug me now that their anger for Muichiro had passed, it seemed like they were relieved I was okay too. I wasn't quite sure how to deal with their affection besides sitting still in the middle of them.

"Of course, would be unflashy otherwise. But why are you both the same when it comes to hugs?" he said with a smile before annoyance when he noticed my stiffness from his wives hugs.

"What about breakfast?" Muichiro asked me, obviously hungry. I blinked at him blankly for a moment before laughing.

"I'll cook for everyone! Come on, but you just watch please," I pleaded with him as he just let out a cute laugh. It was so precious and apparently, everyone else thought it was too.

"What the heck?! Why are you two so cute?" Suma called out as she started crying and hugging Muichiro and me before Makio started to fight with her. Muichiro was as stiff as me a moment ago, making me realize Tengen had a point. I wasn't sure how Tengen handled these three but I went into the kitchen and made breakfast for everyone before we would leave.

By the time we arrived at the butterfly mansion, it was the afternoon. It appears Zenitsu had already woken up as well as Inosuke but Tanjiro was still in a coma. He seemed to be showing no signs of waking up, unfortunately. I stayed by his side for a while with his friends as we checked in on how everyone was doing for a while, Muichiro was quiet until we were alone.

"What are these boys to you?" He asked me quietly. I didn't sense any jealousy, but rather, just confusion. He seemed, almost sad.

"They are friends I suppose. I don't want to see a world filled with sadness and people's families destroyed by demons anymore like mine. Tanjiro remembers you though, for throwing rocks at him when he interrupted the Master at his interrogation about his sister," I explained until I was cut off by noticing Muichiro's eyes beginning to water.

"What's wrong?" I asked him worried when he suddenly held onto me. He was so tense as I gently stroked his back, waiting for his response.

"I don't know, but, I don't want a world filled with sadness or families destroyed by demons anymore either. The cells in my body seem to remember something I don't," he cried softly before he regained his composure somewhat. Perhaps, he is getting closer to remembering his memories before me? I embraced him in a tight hug and kissed his head.

"I love you Muichiro, together, we will help make a happier world," I reassured him as he nodded. I didn't know how yet, but, we were going to together.

Like they were reading our minds of our intentions, our crows started honking at us for another mission as we looked at each other and nodded. It sounds like it's time to go hunt a demon before they hurt another soul. We interlaced our fingers and started to head out into the sunset.
