The next few weeks went by quickly. Muichiro and I had recovered in time for our wedding as did most of our friends. Tanjiro and the others woke up just a few days prior but were cleared to make it to our ceremony luckily.

For all the hashira and my friends that passed, I gathered a flower for each of them and wove it into a hairpin, secured by the red beads from Gyomei. There was a gray for Genya, purple for Shinobu, and a bright orange flower for Rengoku. Somehow, it all looked lovely together.

The day of our wedding finally came. We decided to hold it at our new home where we would live out the rest of our lives. We bought a home with a small hot spring in the back and a small waterfall a short hike away. The home was in our home mountain, just like we promised. It was a beautiful property teeming with life and light mist, reminding us of the beauty of the world.

Mitsuri entered my room to help me get dressed for the ceremony. I could hear everyone chatting outside excitedly, it was the first celebration to be held since Muzan was defeated. She was dressed in a beautiful lime green gown gifted to her by Obanai as she embraced me in a hug.

"I'm so happy you made me your bridesmaid!" She exclaimed excitedly. I smiled warmly in response and hugged her back.

"Of course! I am lucky to have a sister like you," I said as a blush filled my cheeks. But it was true, I did consider her as close as a sister and I was so happy she was here with me.

She smiled at me warmly as tears threatened to fall from her eyes. "I consider you as a sister as well. Come, let's get you ready," she said as she held my hands and helped pull me into my wedding kimono.

It was white with hints of blue in the lace. My gown was loose towards the bottom with soft sleeves that hung down the sides. It fit me perfectly and the soft hints of blue and white made my skin brighter as Mitsuri pulled my hair into a beautiful updo held by the pin of my fallen friends.

It was perfect, I was so excited. My heart was swollen with love and I was ready to become Muichiro's wife. I held back my tears as Mitsuri handed me a bouquet with matching white and blue flowers to go with my gown.

"It's time!" She stated happily as I nodded. I took in a deep breath and she helped me up and walked me down to the ceremony, carefully holding the trail of my dress.

We decided to hold the ceremony close to the waterfall as it was a beautiful late summer day and the waterfall was small enough that it wouldn't be too loud.

I can't believe it has been one year since I started to live with Muichiro, and two since we met. Our wedding day fell on my birthday, which once caused me so much pain but now it will forever bring me joy. We went through so much together that I wanted nothing more than to spend the rest of our days in peace with each other.

Sweet music filled the air, teeming with romance only by the sounds. I loved the western instruments Tengen suggested we buy for the musicians, they were beautiful. I believe he called them violins?

I saw all my friends had taken their spots and Muichiro stood on top of a small white platform with the waterfall behind him. I was making my way through the path and could only focus on him.

He looked at me absolutely stunned with a blush taking over his cheek. His hair swayed softly in the wind as the mist from the waterfall was by our feet. He dressed in a wedding kimono that suited him perfectly. My heart was in my throat at the sight of him as I reached forward and grabbed his hands.

When I looked towards our friends, they all seemed to be smiling, even Sanemi who did show up. I was grateful for him and I saw him notice the flower in my hair representing his brother as he gave a small nod of approval.

Tengen was Muichiro's best man, standing beside him as Mitsuri did with me. His wife, Hinatsuru agreed to be the one to marry us and she was giving introductions and "thank you!" to all the guests while I just stared at Muichiro, completely captivated by his eyes.

"Muichiro Tokito, do you take Kazi as your wife?" She asked suddenly, pulling me back into reality. I saw his eyes light up as he gave my hands a reassuring squeeze and a wide smile overtook him.

"I do!" He happily exclaimed. I could hear Inosuke already start sniffling from the corner of the room with the other boys.

"And Kazi, do you take Muichiro as your husband?" She asked me. Her eyes were filled with kindness when she asked and I smiled at Muichiro, squeezing his hands back.

"I do!" I stated happily.

"You may now-" Hinatsuru started until Tengen interrupted.

"Just kiss her already!" He yelled despite being so close.

"Yeah! Get it on with!" Sanemi yelled out. This caused chaos to build up quickly from the crowd as Muichiro simply pulled me close to him and wrapped his arms around me.

He pulled me into a kiss as my back arched along his elbow, completely being held by him at an angle as his lips refused to leave mine. Cheering filled the air and finally, he let go so we could breathe, pulling me back up.

My cheeks were burning as were his but I gave him another sweet kiss before taking his hand in mine and starting the celebrations with all of our friends and newfound family.

1 year later

"Happy one-year anniversary!" Muichiro called out to me as he planted a kiss on me suddenly while I was cooking for our family.

"Happy one-year anniversary, my love!" I replied with a smile while I tried to stay focused on cooking.

One of our daughters who was wrapped in a soft cloth on my back became jealous of the attention so Muichiro played with her soft hair until she calmed down. He gave her one of the origami toys he made for her, a purple butterfly she loved as she squealed in excitement.

He held onto our other daughter, her much calmer twin who was infatuated with her origami flower while I was finishing our furofaki daikon. Our days were still busy with our children, but they were fun and brimming with love.

Our friends often came to visit the kids and us as well too. Tengen even had two infant sons as well now the girls played with sometimes. Mitsuri was expecting soon as she married Obanai not long after we married, and we were excited to have our babies meet each other soon.

We still went and visited the boys. Kanao formed a special bond with our daughters. She says they remind her of her deceased older sisters. Strangely enough, the girls seem to treat her as a sister as well. It's quite cute.

It's been three years since we first met and every year seemed to bring a new journey. With Muichiro by my side though, it was a joyful and loving adventure.
