I made sure I wore my best kimono as did Muichiro before we set out to the Master's Estate. I wasn't sure what was going on as I felt a sinking feeling in my stomach. I sat on the porch, waiting for Muichiro so we could leave. His crow Ginko came up to me and started to rub on my side. I smiled as I gave her gentle pets.

"Muichiro is the best hashira! He is perfect!" She exclaimed proudly. I just smiled while continuing to pet her.

"He certainly is, isn't he?" I smiled while petting her. My crow Misora was also asking for attention on my other side so I made sure to pet her too. I heard a sound of surprise behind me.

"Wow, Muichiro's crow doesn't like anyone except Muichiro!" Mitsuri exclaimed. The bird huffed in response but I just laughed. Mitsuri came and sat by me for a moment. "Are you feeling better?" She asked me sweetly.

"Yes, much, thank you. I am sorry for worrying you all," I said. She only pulled me into a surprise hug happily. I held her back before she finally let me go.

"Don't be sorry, but I have to know all about you and Muichiro!" She stated, making me blush in embarrassment as she giggled.

"Um, well. He is super cute, kind, and special," I trailed off, melting in a pit of embarrassment while she just looked at me in excitement. The memory of last night and the taste of his lips on mine made my face hot just at the thought. I couldn't believe it wasn't a dream.

"Aw. Well, make sure you take care of him. His memories and emotions are flooding back to him, he may not be sure how to handle it all the time. He is still young," she explained with a hint of worry in her voice. I took a moment to process what she was saying. I suppose she has a point, but she believes I can help him, giving me confidence.

"Okay, I will take good care of him," I said. She beamed a bright smile at me when I heard Muichiro open the door behind me with Tengen. He looked a bit annoyed but quickly shifted his attention to me with his normal expression. I bet Tengen was messing with him again, it seems Mitsuri and Tengen love to see how our relationship is growing any chance they get.

"Let's go," He said coldly, ignoring the other two hashira playful groaning at his harsh tone. I nodded as we started our journey to the Master's House.

This time, he allowed me to walk since we weren't told to rush. Muichiro seemed focused on what was to come, but all I could notice was how his pale blue eyes shimmered in the sunlight. I reached for his hand swinging at his side and held it in mine, trying to fight my blushing. This seemed to break his concentration as he squeezed my hand, blushing slightly as well. He didn't let go of my hand until we arrived.

The Estate was just as beautiful as I remembered when Muichiro first told me to become his tsugoku. I was so shocked that day, but I am so grateful now for it. If Muichiro had never found me again, I am not sure what would have happened. We waited patiently for the master who appeared a few minutes after we arrived.

"Welcome back, Muichiro Tokito and Kazi," He stated calmly. We greeted him as well and he released us to stand up and listen to him. "I have heard rumors that you two may be romantically involved, is this true?" He asked us bluntly with such calmness in his voice it shocked me. I should expect nothing less, however.

Muichiro seemed a bit surprised but as the Hashira, he took the lead to speak for me. I bit my tongue, unsure what to say. He had more experience with talking to the Master, even if he only recently became a Hashira.

"Yes, it is true," He replied stoically. Direct but I couldn't deny it, not like I wanted to, but it felt embarrassing to say it out loud, especially to the leader of the Demon Slayers so recently after our first kiss. I guess Muichiro's boldness at the recovery unit spread like wildfire, especially since he is known to be relatively emotionless.

"I see, I am happy for you, that you have met someone to bring you happiness. Have your memories started to return?" He asked. Muichiro never talked to me much about his memories, making me curious as well.

"Not necessarily, but for some reason, when I am with her, I never forget a moment," He stated. I blushed at his words as the Master nodded and turned to face me.

"Is Muichiro a good teacher to you still? He still has a responsibility as a Hashira to train his tsugoku well. I heard you were injured," Muichiro dug his nails into his side at that comment, obviously trying to hold in his anger. "Have you recovered?"

"Yes, I have recovered. I fell due to my own inability to turn myself upright fast enough. Muichiro is an excellent trainer, I failed him as his tsugoku," I stated quietly. He looked at me in shock, but he wouldn't interrupt the Master. Instead, he grabbed my hand and looked down with a sad look in his eyes. He squeezed my hand tightly.

"Hm, I do not think that is the case. I am glad to hear he continues to train you well. I brought you here today to remind you of that fact, we need you both to stay focused on the demon slayer corps. Rest assured, you have done nothing wrong. We just will remind you of this fact, and give you our blessing to continue your relationship. That is all," He stated before getting up and walking away. Once we were left alone Muichiro grabbed me by my shoulders, surprising me.

"You didn't fail me at all! You were amazing, it is my fault for not being fast enough." He pleaded with me. I just smiled as I embraced him in a soft hug, stroking his back until he relaxed. Once he calmed down a little bit, I spoke.

"I am okay. It was not your fault, I was so amazed by you that I didn't turn myself around fast enough. Please, do not feel guilty. I am right here," I stated, releasing him from my hug.

"How do you do this to me? Why are you so kind?" He asked me. He looked so amazed as if he remembered something. It piqued my curiosity but I just kissed his cheek, holding my hand to his soft face as he looked at me with those beautiful turquoise eyes.

"Because, I-," I paused, hesitating as he looked at me curiously, "you are special to me," I repeated. It felt more natural to say my feelings this way. He looked at me curiously with a slight blush on his face, understanding me perfectly.  He took my hand in his as he walked me back home.

"Hey, what kind of bird is that again?" He asked me curiously, pointing to the sky. I looked up but didn't see any bird as he suddenly pressed his lips on mine again, smirking at me with a small blush on his face. My face felt hot as he suddenly changed his tone.

"Can we have furofuki daikon again?" He asked me innocently as if he didn't just sneak attack me. I laughed at his cuteness, nodding in agreeance. I stared at his perfect and cute smile again as the sun was setting. I want to cherish these moments forever, but I couldn't shake the feeling that something big was about to change forever.
