Anne's POV:⬜⬜⬜⬜

"It's so adorable. Thanks dude", I looked down at the the gifts in awe. There was a beautiful note stuck with the canvas painting he gifted.

"You really liked it?", Raven asked me nervously.

"Yes. And thanksss for the iPod. How did you know that I was desperately in need of them?",

-"well you've mentioned quite a couple of times that you lost your old ones",

"Observing huh?", I teased him.

We have a really good bond and Raven is here whenever I want him. Except the fact that he acts a little weird sometimes. I really hope he doesn't expect something in return.

After his break-up he was pretty devastated for a while. We had really long conversations after that. He would keep texting me almost throughout the whole day. Asking me what I'm doing and all. It was all condonable until he kinda Started being... Obsessive.

I thought maybe because he recently got his heart broken and this is why he's behaving that way.

He supports me which I appreciate a lot.
The other day, I've opened up about how my previous partner has forced me to be sexually intimate and how he reacted after I declined to do so.
I cried to him about it. He consoled me but I hope he doesn't think I'm insinuating him to make a move on me or something.

"Hey,",

- "hello Anne. Did something happen? Why weren't you picking up my calls"

"I told you I was on a vacation",

- "yeah... But you kinda sound off. I just wanted to make sure everything's fine."

"Everything's fine"

-"can we meet?"

"It hasn't been long since we did last time
You missed me huhh?"

-" lol.. If you don't wanna it's fine"

"Fine we will. Just tell me where"

"So.... Is there any special reason why you suddenly wanna meet up?", I ask him as he stays silent for a little too long.

-"I thought I would give you something "

"You already gave me my gift dude?"

-"yeah but I bought them a while ago actually. I just forgot to give them along with the main gift"

He pulls a small gift bag and pulls two boxes out of it. I could instantly figure out those were some sort of jewelry box.

I couldn't restrain myself from asking it,

"Raven"

-"yeah?"

"Do you like me?"

He was caught off guard by my question. As if this were something he's been trying to hide from me.

- "suddenly?"

"I asked you something?"

He stays silent and then slowly speaks

-"can I be honest?"

And I knew what he meant by it.

"Raven. I wanna let you know that by doing all this, your "not so hidden" feelings are not gonna be reciprocated "

-"Anne I -"

"I already know what are you going to say. It's really obvious and I didn't expect you to do this as well. I've considered you as one of my best friends. I was even trying to help you getting out of your past. I've already cleared that nothing's gonna happen between us"
