— Ella POV —

Carlos was involved in a collision, causing a lot of damage to his car. He was being passed car after car, until he finally left the race. I knew Carlos would be very disappointed, I was still rooting for the other Ferrari to do its best. But I couldn't help feel really bad for Carlos. I decided to shoot him a quick message.

Charles managed to end P3 so I was very happy that my team did end up on the podium. This really was a great weekend, it had some extra surprises. I was really happy. We went on the track to watch the podium and after that we would go to a party to end this awesome weekend.

I get a message back from Carlos.

I can't believe that I am leaving in 10 minutes to go to Tomorrowland. Last time I went I had a great time, but I'm sure it can't be compared to joining F1 drivers. We arrived in Boom, the boys had arranged some luxury accommodation on the camping ground. We dropped our stuff and headed straight out to start the party.

I was jumping and dancing on the music, I was having so much fun. 'Hi Ella, would you join me? I'm going to get something to drink.' Carlos said in my ear. His breath on my ear and against my neck sent shivers down my spine. The effects that man has on me, even after this short period of time.

We went to a separate VIP area to get our drinks. I noticed Carlos was acting differently. ' hey Carlos, something on your mind you want to talk about?' He downed his shots before looking me in the eyes.
'Ella I just want to talk about how we go from here. I don't have any races for the next month and then I have to race in the Netherlands and Italy. So not to far from here. I just wanted to see if you would like to get together? I really don't want this to be a hookup, but I do feel I want to explore this. See what this can be before we will be further away from each other.'

'Carlos, I would love to see you again. I just have to see what is possible with work as well. For me this has been a dream and it kind of feels like I have to go back to reality tomorrow. But we can try to meet up maybe in the weekend, depending of course on your vacation plans.' I really like Carlos, I'm just not sure he is the man that I can allow myself to love. It wouldn't be an easy relationship if we would continue with this.
