Chapter 9

— Ella POV—

Is Lando Norris waving at me?
'Oy, Ferrari girl, yes you, come a bit closer, please bring your friend to the front as well.' Lando yells at me. Lottie looks at me with a surprised look on her face.

We make our way closer to the front, wondering why he is calling us over. Maybe he just wants to make fun of the ferrari fan, in the sea of McLaren fans. When we reach him a smile creeps up his face, 'so you are the girl that has a hold on my boy'
Completely stunned and not sure what he is talking about, I question him, ' wait, wat friend? Are you sure you don't have the wrong girl?'

Lando is clearly sure of his case ' Did you happen to meet my boy Carlos yesterday? By the look on your face I would say the answer is yes! So in that case the answer is, that I do have the correct girl in front of me. Would you do me a favour and give my your phone number or if that's too much your instagram or something? Just so he can reach you.
If you do this for me, I will sign anything you want and get a picture together.'

Lottie sees her chance to get every merch she has with her signed and her long awaited picture with her idol Lando. 'Please Ella, just give him your instagram and if you don't want to talk to him then just let him on read in your dm's.' She pleads.

'Fine he can have my instagram, just tell him to add Ella_Verhaegen.'I say trying to sound indifferent, but I'm actually very excited about the fact he couldn't get me out if his mind. To be honest I have been thinking about him as well.

Lando does a little fist bump with Lottie, 'Great give all the merch you got and take the pictures you want!'

— Carlos POV —

I really want to know what that little devil is talking about with Ella. I see him typing something on his phone, I wish I could just go there and ask. But that would raise too many questions. I can't wait for Lando to come back, because I have to leave for a training session. I plan on asking him the first chance I get, now I have to push Ella out of my mind and focus on my work.

After my training session I had some time left before the start if the first practice. So I decide to go get something for lunch. I take my phone and see a message from Lando. ' Come see me when you can, I am your favourite person without a doubt.'

Curious to know if it had anything to do with his interaction with Ella this morning I make my way over to the McLaren hospitality. The people still welcome me as their own. So I go inside and look for Lando, I find him having lunch. So I grab myself some lunch and join him.
