Chapter 27

F1 gossip: Carlos Sainz Jr. spotted yesterday getting cosy with mystery woman.

Above picture was taken by observant tourists. While arriving they noticed that the Ferrari driver was getting cosy with a brown haired mystery woman. So far no leads can be found on who this woman is. Is she the newest conquest of Sainz, or is this something more serious. Sainz Jr. broke up with his longterm girlfriend Isa. Since then no girlfriend could be linked to the driver.

— Carlos POV —

I sigh while I'm reading the article, right now nobody has a clue who Ella is. However our fans are known to be quite the investigators. So chances are that will soon change. I should really talk about this with Ella, we haven't even discussed what we are. It can be a bit awkward that I get questions about and don't know how to respond. I decide to make some breakfast, just to lighten the mood when bringing this news to Ella.

'Hi princess, ready to wake up? I made breakfast for you and off course a nice cup of coffee.' I stroke her hair out of her face in hopes to wake her up gently. She is just the most beautiful person, what did I do to deserve her. 'Hi babe, that's so sweet, I will get up.'

I see her getting out of bed with nothing but my shirt on. I wish we could stay here all day, however we really have some serious things to discuss.
When we sit at the table I wait until she enjoyed her breakfast to bring up the article. 'Mi cielo, it seems that our reunion in the airport didn't go unnoticed. An article appeared this morning about you. They don't have your name yet, but to be honest I think they will figure it out quickly. I just realized that we never discussed what this is. So i thought maybe we should discuss this now? Before somebody asks about it?' I ramble from the nerves.
'Carlos, breath' Ella smiles at my, she gets up from her seats and comes sitting on my lap.

'We knew this could happen at some point, let's just talk about this. If something comes up during an interview what do you wanna share?' She looks intensely into my eyes.
'I'm not sure, I would love for the world to know that you aren't just a hookup and that you are very special to me.' Ella is looking at my with big eyes, not saying anything. So I start talking again, 'if that's not what you want, I can also don't comment on it. I just want to do something we both feel comfortable with. If it's up to me the whole world can know that I like you a lot and you mean so much to me.'
This time I see the smile forming on her face, 'you mean that? You really like me a lot?' She says.

I respond by giving her a soft kiss, filled with all the love I feel for this woman. 'If it where up to me I would have you with me every day, life is just better with you around.' I say against her lips. Instantly reconnecting our lips after that. Pushing her closer to me while I deepen the kiss. What I wouldn't give to have her with me every day. I just feel complete when she is here. But I don't know if she already feels the same. I know she is hesitant about letting me in. Hopefully the past days together has opened her heart for me a bit.

She brakes the kiss and looks deeply into my eyes.
' I would suppose if I came up during an interview you could say that you met someone, and that we are committed to one another? Something like that, if that's okay for you. Unless off course we are not exclusive, in that case I wouldn't comment any further. Maybe it was stupid, never mind.' She starts rambling. With a big smile on my face I look at her. 'Ella for me you are the only girl, so I would be more then happy to let everybody know I am off the market. And we are definitely exclusive. I don't want anybody besides you.'

'Great, that's settled then, what is the plan for today?' She looks very happy. After out deep conversation we start the rest of our lovely weekend together.
