I finally did it, I let Carlos into my heart. I decided that it was not worth letting Derek still control my life. Because even tough I cut all ties with him, I was still letting him influence my life. I was still on a high from the amazing weekend we had together. Next weekend Carlos was coming back here. During our weekend in Spain the fans were able to find out my name. We were notified by the thousand friend requests I suddenly had on my social media accounts. I threw my phone on the bed, I couldn't believe this. He made sure I let down my walls just to be able ti break my heart. Those drivers really are the players everybody thinks they are. How could I be this stupid, I needed something to take my mind of Carlos. I sent a text to Lottie, 'I'm having a party of one tonight, want to join me?' I leave for the store to make sure I have a big supply. While shopping I got a text back, I will be there in 15 minutes it said. Clearly Lottie knew something was up.
I arrived at home with my bottles and the doorbell rang. The moment I opened the door and saw the face of my best friend I just broke down in tears. 'Oh god Ella what happened, I thought everything was going great between you two' she was holding my tight and stroking by back. 'i really don't know what happened, last weekend we where talking about being exclusive and today he just said this wasn't worth the effort. How could I be such a fool all over again. I think boys just take advantage of me because I am so naïve.' I just sob while she holds me tight. 'Okay that's it, where's the alcohol. Let's drink until Carlos is forgotten. Fuck him.' Lottie screams out. I take out the first bottle of wine, 'I'll drink to that!' I take a first big swig from the bottle.

I wake up the next day with the biggest hangover. I look at the time, 9 o'clock' shit I should already be at work. I decide to just sent a quick message that I won't come in due to illness. I see Lottie sprawled on the bed next to me. Shit she also had work today, I feel really guilty for pulling her into this. So I carefully try ti wake her up,'hey honey don't you have to leave for work?' She grunts indicating she is awake, 'I already texted that I wasn't coming.' Great we can go back to sleep then, that's all I need to fall back into a restless sleep.
