— Ella POV —

This weekend has been crazy, I had been spending a lot of time looking at the data, understanding the mechanics of the car. Off course when Carlos was driving he had my undivided attention. But in the waiting periods I absorbed as much information as I could. It also made me realize that my job wasn't really that exciting anymore. I used to be so passioned about it, but now it was just something to pay the bills.

I know Carlos already suggested a job in F1, but i'm not sure if he was serious about it. Would that really be something that I could do? I don't know if it is the best decision for our relationship. Because then either I would be in a competitors garage or we would be working together. Either way it could cause problems between us. But if I admit it to myself, today was the best day I had in a while.

I was so deep in my thoughts that I hadn't noticed Carlos coming out of the shower. Suddenly I feel drops of water on my head. I look up and Carlos is leaning over me. 'What are you thinking about?' He says. 'I was just thinking about my job. Being around the mechanics and analysts it just made me realise that I don't really like my job anymore. It's just so frustrating I worked so hard to get to where I am at the company and now I realise it might not be what I want to keep on doing.' I look at the ground again. 'Oh mi cielo, look at me, if this is not what you want to do anymore then that's okay. We just have to find something that you would like to do.' I start to blush and feel uncomfortable to start talking about what I want to do. Carlos brings his fingers under my chin and pulls my face op to him,'talk to me Ella.'

'It's just that I maybe would like to work in F1? But first of all I don't know where to begin to start applying. And secondly I don't know if it would be a smart move for us.' Carlos is looking at me in shock. 'Oh no you think it's a bad idea, forget I brought it up!' I tell him, I didn't expect him to react so hard. 'What? No mi cielo you don't get it I would love for you to work in F1. Are you crazy! I would love that, I would have you with me at every race.' Carlos says happily. 'Really? Okay if you are okay with this then I will make a plan to proceed with this when I get back home.' I'm so happy that Carlos supports me on this.

'Okay now get ready because we have to leave for the track in 10 minutes, I don't want to be late on race day.' He says while pushing be in the bathroom.
