— Ella POV —

I can't believe this is really my life now. Currently I am in Bahrain for the first race of the 2024 season. The most amazing part is, that I am not here to watch. No I am here to actually work, I got a job in formule 1. It is still hard to grasp sometimes.
Carlos was so nice to talk to Fred, he send me some job openings and I applied to them.

After that the rest is history, it is a bitt strange to work at the same place as your boyfriend. But they put me in Charles' garage so we didn't really have to work together. But the absolute positive side of this is, that we don't have to miss each other all the time. I saw how hard it was on Lottie, and I just couldn't imagine missing Carlos for such a big period of time.

Everything was going so great between us, off course it was still very new, we hadn't been together for that long yet. In the winter break we did spent as much time together as we could. I also went to Spain to meet his family. That was a very important moment since he is such a family man. So I was so nervous to make a good impression. We didn't have the time yet to go back to Belgium, so he could meet my family. But that would be the next big moment in our relationship.

'Okay mi cielo, what do you think about going for a swim in the pool?' Carlos asks while walking in our room. 'I would love that babe, let me just change real quick and we can leave.' We go down to the pool and see that there are already some other people in the pool. I go to the beds to place down my towel and bag and see Lando lying down on one. 'Hi Lando, how are you?' It had been a while since I saw the boy. 'I'm fine thanks, just I bit sad that I can't share this with Lottie. I really miss her.' During winterbreak they started to appear in public a bit more. I know Lando was very happy about that. 'I know it sucks she couldn't take time of to join you.'

'I already proposed that she quit her job and she could just join me on every race, but she wasn't very happy with my proposal.' That made me laugh big time, 'Lando, big big mistake, never ask an independent woman to quit her job and follow you around doing nothing. She would go crazy, she needs a job to feel useful. I'm exactly the same.' He looks at me in amazement, 'to avoid big fights in the future I will come talk to you first before proposing something like that to her.' He says. 'Smart choice, I'm going to join Carlos in the water now. See ya.'

I go sit on the edge of the pool, dipping my legs in the water. Carlos swims up to me, 'Hi, are you joining me in the water? Or are you staying up there?' He starts splashing water in my direction, I decide to end the suffering and jump in the water.
I swim over to him and wrap my legs around him. 'You are pure evil just splashing me with water.' I start splashing him back. He lifts me up and wraps my legs around him. 'I don't know what you mean?' He laughs at me. I decide to take revenge, so I gently start to rub against his swim short. I could feel his body immediately reacting to my touches. 'Oh you are evil, Ella stop it everybody is going to see my arousal.' I detach myself from him, give him a kiss and say' that was the point, good luck getting out of the pool without anyone seeing it' and with that I leave him alone in the pool and go rest on the sun beds.

After 10 minutes I feel drops off water on me, I open my eyes and I see Carlos hovering over me. 'You, me, bedroom, now!' I give a small yell and get up as quickly as possible. As 2 little children we hurry to our room to finish what I started.
