Chapter 62

— POV Ella —

I was going to meet up with Lottie at the airport. Lando also wanted to join her, so we decided to just spent as much alone time as we could with our guys.

'Okay babe, I think this is as far as you can come with me. God I don't want to leave you.' Tears are starting the sting in my eyes. 'Please don't leave me again, my heart will not be able to handle it this time.' Carlos' eyes fill with guild, 'I will never leave you again, and you know why mi cielo? Because I love you! You don't have to say it back, because I know it's soon. But I just want you to know that it's crazy to be in a relationship with me, but please I hope you think it's worth it because you know I love you. Just don't take this time apart to rethink us. Please just promise me that?' Carlos' words made me cry, but not because I was sad. Because I realised I loved him as well. With all my heart did I love that man.

I leaned closer to him so he could hear my whispers. 'Schattie, I want you to know that I love you too. And whatever is being said about us our about me, I promise I won't let it break us apart. And if something is bothering me I will tell you. Just promise you will do the same' I lean in to kiss him passionately. After the kiss Carlos I see a shy smile om his lips. 'I promise mi cielo, what did you call me? I have never heard you say it before?'
'Schattie? It just means the same as babe, honey.'
'I like it' Carlos says leaning in for a kiss.

'Okay now I really have to leave, I love you so much.' I give him one last kiss. ' love you too, let me know when you land back home.' He says with tears in his eyes. I decide to turn around and leave, because if I stay with Carlos I don't think I will ever leave.

I keep on walking and see Lottie already in line of the security check in. I sent her a quick text to let her know I am behind her in line. After getting trough security I see Lottie has sent me a text letting me know in which bar she is. So I go over there to join her in her misery.

'What are we drinking babe?' I ask her while I sit down at the table. 'I ordered us some wine, I know it's morning but since we didn't go to sleep,  it's okay.' I guess we do have the entire flight to sleep it off. 'So how was the goodbye with Lando?' She looks sad, so I guess it must have been emotional. 'We had a little fight right before we left. So it was with mixed feeling when we said our goodbyes.'
'Oh no what was the fight about?' I ask her. Lottie sighs deeply and then starts talking, 'So I told him we had to say our goodbyes here because we couldn't be to close at the airport. In case somebody would see us and then he said that maybe it wasn't so bad that somebody saw us. Because he didn't want to hide. He was jealous of how you and Carlos acted in public. And he wanted that as well. But I told him I had to think about it, because it would have a big impact on me. So that is the short recap of our fight.'

'That really sucks, just so you know as long as you don't read all the negative comments and you close out your socials it really doesn't have to affect you that much. But I get why you didn't like him springing this on you. Okay let's finish our drinks and we can enjoy our fancy seats again!' With that we finish up and leave this great adventure behind us.
