Chapter 49

— Ella POV —

We are on our way to the airport, today we are leaving for the US. Carlos and I had been texting and calling almost everyday. Since the boys arranged our tickets, we had to get them at the register. So when the taxi drops us off that is where we head off to.

'Hi, we are here to collect our tickets.' I say to the lady at the desk. She asks our passport and she starts searching for them. She slides of the tickets and we see if we can already drop of our luggage. Since we are in line waiting I take a better look at the ticket in my hand. 'Euhm Lottie, did you look at this? We are flying business. You have got to be kidding me! They really went overboard.' I happily say. 'They really spent to much money on this, okay after we drop of our bags lets see where we have to go.' Lottie says. We arrive at the business lounge and decide to take a seat and have a drink, we still have some time before we have to board. I grab my phone to sent a quick text to Carlos. 'Hi, you really decided to swoop us of our feet didn't you? I would have been fine just taking a regular flight. All the luxury isn't needed for me. But it is appreciated ☺️ So thank you and I'm looking forward seeing you.'

My reservations towards Carlos really went overboard, I think we can start trusting each other again. I was a bit nervous about sharing a room, I did want to take it slow between us. But I'm sure Carlos will respect that.

We get called to start boarding and so the adventure begins! Flying business was a whole new experience, I was so used to being cooped up close to other people. I understood now why people would enjoy this so much. After a lot of movies, reading and sleeping we where finally ready to land. I was getting very nervous, Carlos and Lando where waiting for us at the airport.

As soon as we landed we went to get our backs and started to walk to the meeting point. In the back I saw 2 boys with caps on their heads. Doing their best to blend in, but for me Carlos always stood out. So I gave Lottie a little nudge and we went over to them. As soon as I was close to Carlos I threw myself into his embrace. 'Hi Carlos, I missed you so much.' I snuggled my face into the crook of his neck. 'Hi mi cielo, i missed you too. How was the flight?' He was stroking my back. 'It was great, you really shouldn't have gotten us business tickets. But i have to be fair, it was nice.'

'Only the best for our 2 girls!' Lando said happily. I look over at him, 'your girls? Something I missed?'
He looks very nervous, 'you know what I mean, euhm let's go before someone sees us.' He grabs Lottie's hand and guides her out. I feel Carlos hand on my lower back, he gently guides me after Lando and Lottie.

'Okay I will put your stuff in my car and then Lottie can ride with Lando. We will go to the hotel and then you can freshen up if you want. So we our ready for our evening plans.' Carlos says.
I'm a bit nervous being so close and alone with him.
