Chapter 38

— Ella POV —

I have to use google maps to find my way back to Lando's appartement. I must look like crap, still wearing yesterdays clothes and makeup, mixed together with the result of my crying. I get some dirty looks of people passing by. I just try to keep my head down and keep walking. I finally arrive at Lando's and quietly open the door. I go to the guest bedroom to see if Lottie is still sleeping. However when I look inside it is clear that nobody slept in this bed. I'm really happy for her, it looked like she was really getting close with Lando yesterday. So I decide to take a quick shower, I didn't want to disturb them.

After I grab a shower, I make myself some coffee and go sit on the balcony. My phone buzzed again, I got a message from Derek, I forgot to block him again after what had happened. So I took my phone and checked what he had to say. 'I can't believe you filed a complaint and a restraining order against me at the police! Now this will reach my boss. You ruined my life, I will make you regret this!'

Fuck now he was threatening me, this just wouldn't end. I placed my head into my hands, I can't believe this was all happening to me. 'Hi girly, what's wrong? Talk to me.' Lottie said entering the balcony.
I just showed her the message Derek had just sent me. 'That asshole, I think you should show this to the police as well. He can't just make threats like that.' 'Lottie calm down, I will take it to the police when we get home, now tell me how was last night? I couldn't find you in the bed this morning.'
She started blushing, that immediately confirmed my suspicions. 'I might have spend the night with Lando. I really had a lot of fun yesterday, he was so gently.' She said with the biggest smile on her face. With that Lando also came out, 'are you girls gossiping about me?' He smiled, knowing perfectly well what he walked out to.

'Changing the subject, where have you been this night?' Lottie said, 'did you happen to leave with a pretty Spanish driver?'
'Don't get my started on that asshole, we had sex and this morning after I told him the entire Derek story he just kicked me out.' Lottie looked really surprised.
'I don't know what is going on with that muppet, but he is not acting like himself.' Lando chimed in.
'Enough about him, what are we doing today?' I ask trying to change the subject.
'Charles asked if we would like to join him for a small boat trip today? We can enjoy the sun and some swimming.' Lando proposes.
Lottie and I look at each other, 'that sounds lovely Lando' Lottie says while placing a small kiss on his lips.

We finish our breakfast and get ready to head to the harbor, that's where we are meeting Charles. I can't believe I am going on a boat trip with a Ferrari driver. I can't believe how my life has changed, sometimes I have to pinch myself. When we arrive in the harbor we can't believe our eyes. 'Lando, you said a little boat trip, not a fucking yacht.' Lottie said as surprised as I am. Lando just chuckled, he helped us with our bags and giving us a hand when stepping on the yacht.

'Hi Lando, hi girls, just walk to the back we will leave in about 5 minutes.' Charles greeted us. So we did what he asked and dropped ourself on a comfy couch looking over the entire harbor. I could feel the boat moving, I was really excited. Suddenly I could here a sharp voice behind me, 'oh hello and who might you two be? I'm Ana.'

My heart dropped and stopped beating for a second. I turned around, ' hi we are Ella and Lottie, friends of Lando.' I said with the most fake smile as I could put on my face. If she was here then he would be too. Surely not much later Carlos also came sitting on the cough. I turned, looking away from them and out to the ocean. This could not be happening, Lando arrived with some drinks and stopped in his tracks when seeing Carlos. ' hello muppet, what are you doing here?' He said. Carlos looked straight at me and said, ' I heard from Charles you guys would be here so we decided to join.'

I can't believe this! He just had sex with me and now he was joining us with his girlfriend.
