She laughed. "You would think that with your height, you would see him first."

"True, then again, I'm never far away." He saw Yuma and Ruki after that. "You didn't come last night."

Ruki nodded. "Azusa, that's not for you. Something came up, is tomorrow possible?"

"Do you have a phone number?" He took his phone out. "This is easier than relying on a familiar."

"Chisa-chan!" Kou showed up and pulled her to the nearest stall. "Do you like dango? Don't worry, let them exchange phone numbers."

"I do like dango."

"Perfect, two..."

"My other half, as Yuma just put it, likes it too." She pointed behind her, where she knew Ruki and Reiji were.

Kou pouted and corrected himself. "Three dango. How's everything now he's back? You did seem a little down last Wednesday." He paid for it and gave her two dango.

"Much better." She had no intention of telling him what happened and why or how. "Thank you." Enjoying her dango, she saw the two were done. "Done?"

"We are." He took her away while receiving the dango and with a nod to Kou as a thank you. "What was that about Wednesday?" He bit his dango.

She had to swallow her bite first. "He thought I seemed down, and I was. I was missing you."

Earning a peck on her cheek, she felt his arm around her as they walked through the bustling street.

"With all that cleaning you've done, you should be a little stronger, Chisana. Come on." Reiji smiled, seeing her trying to smash a watermelon. Having an idea, he walked to her. "Pretend it's Kanato, who ate everything from the pantry. Or what will happen when he discovers your Godiva chocolate?"

Lashing out again with the bat, Chisana smashed the watermelon. "I know I'm not that strong." Smiling from ear to ear, she handed him the bat.

"No, it's not for me." He stepped closer without taking it. "You know I can smash or break it with one hit."

She gave him the bat. "That's the point, darling, you show me how it's done."

Taking the bat, he closed his eyes for a second. "You do know how to get me to do these things." A watermelon lay there for him ready to smash it. He took the apron first to protect his clothes.

"And you know you can do the same with me." She took some steps back. "Are you going to pretend it's Laito for his arm around me in the car?"

He brought the bat down onto the watermelon and broke it into pieces.

Damn! Like a hot knife through butter. He's strong without looking muscular. "It's a good thing he knows about us." She helped him with the transparent apron. "Or that everyone keeps a safe distance." When she looked at him she laughed, picking a small part of the watermelon from his hair and showed it to him before throwing it away.

"Are you having fun or are you laughing at me." Not that he could get mad at her.

"Maybe both, but we know something that they don't know." She felt his arm and walked away laughing. "I think there's something on your glasses too."

Removing his glasses, he didn't see much. "Where?" Instead, he felt her warm fingers under his chin and a kiss followed. "Are you tricking me?"

He looks great with glasses but sexy without them. And he's all mine. She knew it worked when he pulled her closer and smiled in the kiss.
