Translucent

If I was translucent for a day
I wouldn't throw on any clothes
I wouldn't even cover up
Because nobody knows
If invisibility were a gift I was thrown
I would not mess with people's lives
Because I'd be at home
At peace with myself in a simple life
If I could disappear for some time
I think I would walk the streets
And stare at the people who cannot judgingly stare back at me.
Because now my fear is irrelevant; the great fear of my own. It's funny that a place without them is a place I'd call my home.
