I took a lot of risks in my life. I learned that risks aren't what makes you better; what makes you better is rather choosing the right risks to take.
I once believed that my risky lifestyle somehow made me a stronger person or put me through life experiences that made me better... but I was wrong.
What makes me better is being able to identify a risk and weigh out its pros and cons therefore only taking risks that are healthy and truly beneficial to my future. That way I can surely say, this is a risk I took that I was sure of. And if that risk worked out well, I could be proud, and if that risk failed me, I knew that there were still pros to having taken that risk which benefitted me in the form of a learning experience.
