*This part wasn't origanally going to be this long, but her comment motivated me to make it longer so I'm dedicating this to her (:

It could've been anyone!" Tiana told me when I had told her what happened when I had tried to call Daniel.

I hugged the cushion I was holding closer to my chest as I stared into space and bit my lip. I could feel Tiana's gaze on me as she tied her hair up into a careless, messy ponytail. "Do you think he's moved on?" I asked in a quiet voice finally looking up at her.

She heaved out a heavy sigh as she sat on my bed beside me. "Do you want my honest opinion?" she asked.

I simply nodded.

"I don't know," she continued. "Maybe Jaida...but you two didn't break up that long ago."

I gave her a look. "Daniel's extremely good-looking he isn't going to stay single for that long." I answered.

"It could've been a friend, like a really close female friend. You answer Rex's phone sometimes right?" she asked, I noticed the tone of her voice changed when she said Rex's name.

"No." I snorted. "He never lets me touch his Blackberry, secretive b*tch." I added and we both laughed at this for a moment. I lay back on my bed and heaved out a heavy sigh, "This is so typical." I shook my head in disbelief and sighed. "Just when I know what I want...really know what I want, I can't have it." I kissed my teeth while Tiana chuckled.

"You don't know that he's moved on," Tiana reminded me.

"I'm telling you, he has," I assured her before heaving myself off of my bed and stretching. "I'm going to have a shower," I announced while she nodded. I went and had a long shower and washing my hair.

I came out of the bathroom and got myself dressed in a grey top, jeggings and silver sandals. My hair was all straggly and stringy from being washed in some places my hair was curly. I hated my hair when it was wet and left out so I pulled it back into a bun and stuck some hoops into my ear and I was dressed for the day. I came out of the room to hear the sound of Janelle's heartbreaking cries coming from her room I could also hear Tiana's attempts to settle her down. She had been like this for the last couple of days and I was getting really worried so I was taking her to the doctors. I picked up my daughter and held her in my arms stroking her hair.

"Do you want me to come with you?" she asked me sympathetically.

"No it's fine." I reassured her as I kissed the top of her head while she continued to wail, getting louder and louder. I felt so helpless.

I then put Janelle in her buggy and we set off for the two-thirty appointment I had made for her yesterday after I had noticed I had to force-feed her and she kept crying more, they were really confusing symptoms. I explained this to the Doctor who nodded solemnly before explaining to me that Janelle was teething. I stared at her feeling kind of embarrassed that the possibility that she was teething hadn't dawned to me. I sat there and listened as the Doctor gave me advice on how to deal with a teething toddler and reduce the pain.

"Swear down?" Tiana laughed when I came home and explained to her what the Doctor had told me. "Aww she's teething, she's growing!" Tiana cooed as she unclipped the belts that surrounded my daughter in her pushchair and took her out of it. I smiled as I closed the door walking towards the kitchen. "T, do you want a drink?" I called over my shoulder.

"Yeah some of that s*xy tropical juice you brought from Tesco the other day please!" she called back while I laughed as I opened the fridge. The way she loved off the drink. I walked back into the living-room with my glass of Sprite and her glass of Tropical juice, she was sitting on the sofa flicking through the channels, she looked up when she felt my presence in the room and smiled graciously as I handed her a glass. "Thank you babes," she said as she took a sip. I sat down on the sofa opposite the one she was sitting on, I crossed my legs before taking a sip and we sat there in a brief silence watching Janelle play with her toys and bringing them into her mouth. I smiled as I watched her play.
